Pastel Flower or Love Flower (Pseuderanthemum variabile) Its natural habitat is …. Growing in my cattleya orchid and my zygocactus! 🤣 It actually comes from the floor of rainforest or wet eucalyptus forest of northern and eastern Australia, north of Bega, New South Wales. Common names include night and afternoon, pastel flower and love flower. This one has been popping up in my orchid pots this year. It’s nice to find Australian natives that are good for a shady area. Some orchid growers hate it since it gets in their orchid mix and is hard to remove with its running root system. Funny thing is I went to all the trouble of collecting this plant only to find it growing already in my garden. #flower #pastelflower #loveflower #mygarden #rainforrest #myplants #homegrown #pseuderanthemum #pseuderanthemumvariable #australiangardens #australiangarden #australiannatives #australiannative #ausnatives #ausnative #weed #volunteerplant (at Belmont, New South Wales, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CcpT4tYJZ_R/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
