      ❝ so ... inquisitor, hm ? ❞ vic approached evelyn rather meekly, arms folded across his chest, a small yet friendly smile taking to his face. his motivation here was odd------he didn’t know the inquisitor terribly well, but still wanted to check in. a lot had happened in the past few weeks, a great deal many scary things  &  responsibilities placed on one person’s shoulders. it couldn’t have been easy ; so the least he felt he could do was try  &  be a friend amidst it all. ❝ a nice new title. do ya’ like it ? or do ya’ favor the ... herald thing ? ❞

𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆, there was a starter call and an overzealous court who wanted ALL THE THINGS. and the fact that you were so on board with writing ALL THE THINGS made me such a big fan. i’m so excited to get to know you better and see where our friendship goes and i can’t wait to see what we build together. you’re so awesome and so creative and i’m just gonna fangirl over here in the corner.

     “so basically,”  she starts, drawing out her sentence as she stares at him, eyes slightly narrowed and a playful grin on her lips.  “-- what you’re saying is,”  her finger taps on the table between them, head canting minutely as she reaches up and tucks her blonde hair behind her ear.  “-- you’re indiana jones ?”
