You don't have to waste your coins on that webtoon. Here, I wrote you a summary:
An unfathomably beautiful girl is a social outcast. Why? Maybe she's the black sheep of her rich family, maybe she's a victim of a smear campaign conducted by one of her peers, or maybe she's an orphan... Or all of the above. Probably all of the above. Her traumatic experiences made her socially inept to a degree that makes you wonder whether she should have access to some kind of welfare program. And she probably should considering that her personality seems to be based on a list of characteristics that psychopaths look for in their victims.
Enter, the male lead. An incredibly hot guy. He's in high school and hasn't done any sports in years, because he's too depressed, yet his abs are insanely chiseled and his shoulders are so wide he barely fits in the doorway, while his hands are so big he looks like he used to be a mole in his past life, and no matter what, his veins always bulge out. He's also rich and he's the most popular guy in the whole school, so you'd think his life is perfect, but plot twist, his family is dysfunctional. He's being beaten by his father on a regular basis and his mother is probably dead or divorced years ago. He doesn’t care about anything or anyone UNTIL he meets her. Helpless and naive. All alone, by herself. He must help her, protect her, have her muahahaha. He lashes out sometimes and/or ghosts her but it's okay because he has trauma. Deep down he's a sensitive boyyyy. They are truly a match made in heaven, because her clueless ass don't see no red flags. Consent? What's that? Boundaries? Don't know her! Yes, he does things he shouldn't do, but he cried that one time! That means he has depth. He just wants to help the female lead. She's such a recluse after all, and all people want from her is use her. He also gets possessive when she's speaking to anyone that's not him... But that only shows how much he loves her! Like that one time when someone asked for her number, and he didn’t even let her respond and just grabbed her by the shoulders to move her like a freaking piece of furniture, glaring at the guy the whole time. What a gentleman! Then, later when they were alone she did something that... aroused his senses, so he pinned her down and told her to be more guarded around him, and not to forget he's also a man. Wow! A regular guy would rape her right there and then, but not him! What a gem!
You would think such a perfect pair wouldn't provide enough drama to constitute an interesting story, and you'd be correct!
Enter the second male lead. He's equally hot and equally traumatized, but this one is probably blonde. Or brunette, if the first male lead is blond. He is also messed up in the head but somehow not as much as his rival. He actually seems to be friends with the female lead... Their relationship isn't necessarily healthy but... it seems manageable. Maybe at least this guy can change for the better...? Build something healthy...?
Sike! His whole arc is about him not being the main character, but just some obstacle. And, to be honest, he is. Yes, he has some chemistry with her, but it's not even close to the toxic waste radioactive chemistry of the main couple.
What a bittersweet ending. I cried.
Hope that helps!
