2018 There's a version without a background
Day 10: Squirm
sometimes the simple solution to making sure your alien invader engineer prisoner doesn't escape is to hold on to him the whole time
another potential comic that has been thumbnailed but not completed (yet) that demonstrates the difference between inspector swan's and kobick's methods: kobick follows the supreme council's orders to a t, which means capture and interrogate because you can't get info from a dead subject; swan prefers threats and physical methods, because you can't get info from an uncooperative subject and sometimes you need to get rough/physical with them. that said, it doesn't mean swan is smart about it, he doesn't care if they end up hurt or even dead, but he also tends to choose over-the-top/outright dumbfuck methods that fail in getting any information at all. don't ask about his "partner" inspector hammer a hammer it's a hammer he threatens some of the crew with an actual factual fucking hammer
(swan is a nepo-baby hire, his uncle is a senator and he basically got the inspector title handed to him because he thought it would look good on his resume, and he honestly doesn't care about doing a good job so much as looking like he's doing a good job. and networking for his future political campaign. his current voice claim is chris evans because he's basically ransom from knives out anyway. whiny entitled thinks he's smarter than he actually is, etc etc etc. plus chris evans can do with more villain roles anyway)
((i also haven't even started on mark's character redesign sheet yet so i haven't decided if his waistcoat will have a pattern or not but his shirt at least will deffo be purple for sure))
(((even if that might not be the right purple in the end WHATEVER MAN)))

for those unaware, i am Full On Some Land of the Giants Bullshit and this year's Gt July theme will be related to the LotG Series Bible project i have been picking away at for a proposed remake/reboot of the show
I know its sort of annoying of me to throw oc/iterator logs stuff in there but I want to post everything at once

Old art dump
I forgor to post these Human!Twilight and Human!Digger art from LAST YEAR
⚠️⚠️ YAOI WARNING
I've been playing Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole for the WII a lot and I can honestly say it's one of my favorite video games. It may be repetitive, but what makes repetition interesting is strategy. There are certain enemies you have to use certain moves on, and the pure adrenaline I get from watching all other enemies scramble (fly) out of the way as you charge at one makes it all worth it.
For those who haven't played it, it does kind of follow the Canon of the film (for the most part) except you play as 'Shard', who can be one of four different owl species of your choosing. The Hagsfiends from the books are here for some reason, and they annoyingly encapsulate the 'holders of Witchcraft' role they play by being exclusively female.
In fact, it's kind of jarring how imbalanced NPCs and enemies are when it comes to gender. The Pure One soldiers you fight all have the same voice (maybe 2 voices)... a male voice, and the only female plot-relevant NPC you meet is Bryony, a Great-Horned Owl who leads a resistance against The Pure Ones.
Honestly... if it didn't bother her too much to leave the resistance, I kinda wish we got her as a Wingman instead of Cormac. Because with Streak and Parzival, they're actually relevant to the plot and have their own speaking lines and character arcs and Cormac has... nothing. Oh well a guy can dream.
Remember Allomere from the film? In this game you get to throw him against rocks until he dies >:D
belongs to @twisting-roads yeah that open water, yet again
