GUYS. the colors !!!! the color grading of this set is my second favorite i think, with photo set 2 being the first (i just love bright things).
the earthiness is so fun, the natural greens and browns paired with the glitter is so surprising actually!! i’m wondering how this ties in with the bad mv and lore? i saw a video that mentioned gh series feels like Z/black pirate ateez’s backstory and I’ve been thinking.
(I AM NOT A HISTORIAN please take half of what i say with healthy skepticism, i haven’t fully researched or fleshed these thoughts out, it’s been 10 minutes since i saw these pics 😭. if anything is incorrect please feel free to correct me with sources so i can learn!) please be nice to me thanks
if Zteez (as referred to) was from late Joseon era, it would make so much sense for their fashion to follow around this western style in the late 1800s/early 1900s (or i’m lying out of my ass).
yeosang’s outfit feels detailed similarly to late 1800s upper class South Asian outfits. i say this because of the bright detailing and intricacy, which obviously has carried over to modern styling, but this was the period where Desi fashion had influence from western fashion/colonization. early 1900s upper class men/business men started wearing western suits. a lot of modern jabbha/kurthas/traditional menswear has similar intricate designs and colors, with a vest-over-kurtha style or something that feels resembling western suit pieces
I AM GRASPING AT STRAWS this is a needle in a haystack goodbye thanks for reading if you did ily xx
