((Text Answer for Lore! Yes - they do! In fact, Lepidians often spin their shed fluff into yarn and sell it. Lepidian fluff yarn is highly sought after and highly valued, especially since it can only be gotten from sapient Lepidians; so rich Enterrans often go about in cloaks woven from fine Lepidian fluff yarn. While the most commonly used fabric is made from Silkwood, a plant somewhat similar to Earth’s cottonwood or Silkbrush, smaller and easier to grow, but produces less, fabric made from Lepidian fur is highly sought after and very luxurious.))

Azmodeus: A Dravhokonus can only become gravid when they come into heat… and that happens quite rarely. Even if Daemarus goes into heat again, it’ll be a very long time from now. Even then, a Dravhokonus can only become gravid from another of their own kind. I believe, due to a hormone, I think? I do suppose, being an Astran, I could likely replicate that hormone, but being gravid with little Nava here was very rough on him. I would not want to risk his health for us to have a child. As for myself becoming gravid from him… Well, as a true Astran, and not an Ascended.. Meaning I was not born a mortal, I would reproduce with another Astran using a transfer of energy, and said energy being held within and nurtured. Birthing is not done through an egg; but rather through a separation of energies. As such, our body systems are quite different.  We are both content with baby Nava here, of course. Isn’t she just the cutest little thing? Well I do suppose little is relative. A Dravhokonus egg is laid in their true form, and their young remain in their true form until they get old enough to learn how to shift. I've decided that I am the step mom! ((As a note - Astrans are my Universe’s “Higher Beings”, and as close to “Gods” as one can get. This concept is from my original universe and fit very well with the Shadow of Doubt AU. Astrans, like gods, do not die of age. They can, however, become ill or be killed, though it takes a lot to kill one and they can recover from heavily bodily damage given a little time to recover. They are made up of energy with their Core, or the very center of their being, holding it all together. They tend to settle on an appearance once they find their Aspect (The thing they embody/represent), and this appearance passes on to any offspring they may have. Astrans tend to go where they are needed, and embody an aspect that is necessary in their region. They do tend to group up in pantheons, though various pantheons have different rules and workings.  Ascended are very similar to Astrans. They, however, are not born as an Astran, but rather a mortal, and through some great deed or intense work, ascend to become like an Astran themself. Astrans are based on an ooooold concept (As in. 12-13 years old) I had for gods and deities, being recycled into something that better fits my original setting and my AU setting as well.))
