This contains huge spoilers for s5, read at your own risk!!
I had this theory about how Noah said that Vecna is the most misunderstood villain (Millie shut him up bcuz spoilers)
I was rewatching st4 and stopped by a scene right before El forces 001 into Dimension X and what he says is really interesting:
001 says that what motivated him was that humans were broken creatures and he was fixing the world by killing them and keeping balance.
I immediately thought of Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars) who brought balance to the Force by joining the dark side and becoming Darth Vader, just like Vecna says it.
Who kills Darth Vader in the end, you may ask. It was mostly Lord Sidious (Palpatine) with his lightning powers, someone who was also from the dark side.
So I thought that, maybe, we don't see Kali, Will and Eleven killing Vecna, but we see the Mind Flayer (higher position, same side [just like Sidious and Vader]) killing Vecna.
It would be a such greater plot twist and I think, with that, the trio can focus on killing the higher figure of the enemy side: The Mind Flayer. (If I'm not wrong [I watched SW so long ago sorry], it's Luke Skywalker [Vader's son] who kills Palpatine [prequel], making sense that they will kill the 'final boss')
Some proof:
(I don't know if this is a reliable source, but still, it's a hell of a coincidence)
Plus, the Duffers said that the most violent death of the show is in season 5, so maybe it's not one of the main characters' death, but Vecna's.
(This is a crazy theory, so pls correct me if I missed something!!)
Do you think Palpatine got bored after becoming Emperor?
Like, all these years and years and literal decades of planning and waiting and anticipation. Crafting and recrafting and fixing and erasing plans, manipulating and scheming and constantly working, all to get him to this point.
And then once he got there... what else was there? I mean he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to enjoy the spoils of his newfound infinite wealth and power. He strikes me as an "always busy" kind of guy, the kind that always has at least five different tasks he's working on at once.
So once that was gone, he had to have become at least a LITTLE bored.
Anyways, in this essay I will describe how Palpatine went from Sith Lord to Emperor to galaxy renowned sabacc-polo-fencing-golf champion-
what if ahsoka tano hadn't left the order? what if ahsoka was trained by windu? what if ANAKIN was trained by windu? what if qui-gon didn't die? what if ventress never fell to the dark side? what if yoda took care of grogu? what if padmé hadn't died? what if the invasion of naboo didn't happen (or happened on a lower scale) and palpatine didn't become supreme chancellor?
so many possibilities, so few answers. disney, now that you own star wars, we DESERVE this.
GUYS WHAT IF ANAKIN NEVER SHOWED UP AND WINDU KILLED PALPATINE THEN AND THERE?

Question: why did the Rebels never build a replica of Darth Vader’s suit and go around impersonating him?
Think about it: if they had a suit for impersonating Vader, half of the Empire would be open for them. They could just show up at a base or Star Destroyer in a custom looking ship and claim that Vader is doing a surprise inspection, and immediately get full access to everything. I mean, who in the Empire would deny Darth Vader, and who in the Empire is brave enough to question whether this guy who looks and sounds like Vader really is Vader? Particularly when everyone is so afraid of Vader that the idea of impersonating him is totally unthinkable.
I mean, there are basically three people in the Empire where Vader is concerned: you’ve got your average Joes, who are so scared shitless of Vader that they wouldn’t dare question why Vader isn’t quite as scary and assume he’s just in a good mood; you’ve got your ambitious morons who would be so busy trying to get on Vader’s good side that they’d never think to question it; and the Imperial elite, like the Emperor and his retinue or the Grand Admirals, who know Vader and work with him regularly to the point where such an impersonation would be a complete failure.
All the Rebellion would need to do is avoid those elites who know Vader well enough to not be fooled and they’d be golden. They could land, and while ‘Vader’ is distracting the officers, his personal droid could waltz right into the command center or bridge, copy everything they want, and then waltz on out. They could get away with so much like that, breaking out POWs, stealing info, even stealing ships and equipment, and the only thing they’d need to worry about is Vader catching on, at which point they should drop the suit down the Maw’s throat.
Edit: a lot of people seem to think I’m talking about the Ghost crew exclusively here, and that’s fine, but I more meant the rebellion in general, like maybe Han or Wedge or Lando or someone equally crazy bold came up with the idea.
rewatching the mandalore/order 66 arc. I'm on Shattered (s7,ep11) right now, before the chips get and activated and jeez I forgot how heavyladen even the music is.
You can feel the tension and sense of dread just by looking at the characters grim interactions with each other, but the music.
We all know what's coming, but the music is reminding us that the days of "we are going to go commit war crimes and win the day with the power of friendship" are over. This is where it gets serious. This is were the reality of Sidious's plot is about to hit. This is not an epic battle. This is a tragedy.
