tbh i can see Why the onceler fandom split him up into 2 ppl but like. when u actually think abt it for more than 2 secondz it kinda defeatz the purpose of one of the moviez messagez. that being: good ppl w/ good intentionz can still do bad thingz.
splitting him up into a simple "good side" and "bad side" stripz the situation of all nuance by absolving one of all blame and pinning everything on the other. itz incredibly black and white.
and, again, i can see WHY they did it. he goez from 0 to 100 rlly fucking fast, i mean he actz completely differently than how he did pre-capitalism. post-capitalism he Feelz like a very different person. but my point still standz, splitting him up would defeat the purposez of the movie (not like it already did that by itself) and just make no fucking sense
but fanz never cared abt the themez of the movie so they just went right on their merry way (and tbh? good for them)

o’hare was originally gonna be called “oxy” (as in oxygen) in concept art but it was changed. ted also had concept art thatz super different to how he ended up in the movie
