I just watched a freaky and charming Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Steve McQueen and Peter Lorre starred in the episode. Peter played a gambler who wanted to bet his car against Steve's lighter. He bet him that it wouldn't light 10 times in a row. If it did, Steve got the car. But if it didn't, Peter got Steve's left pinky finger. It got weirder from there...

Steve's hand was tied down, and his pinky extended...

Tensions mounted as Steve flicked his lighter time after time.

After 7 lights, Peter's wife burst in and put a stop to the game. She explained that Peter was destitute and a bit of a looney. I love the look in his eyes in the photo on the right. The next time Steve went to light his lighter to light a cigarette, it didn't work. He would've lost. Peter's wife explains that she now owns everything. She said that Peter has won 47 pinky fingers and lost 11 cars. She won everything he owned eventually. She said that it took some time. How she won everything is evident when she goes to pick up the car keys!!!🤣🤣🤣 I love Alfred's summation...
