Fear of others’ opinions Anxiety Timidity Laziness Lust Unforgiveness Sickness I still struggle with laziness & lust from time to time. However, God has rescued me from the dangerous mindset that says it’s ok. The fact that I KNOW it is NOT ok to think these thoughts PROVES that God has rescued me. When Jesus died & rose again, He rescued us from son’s penalty. We no longer fear death because it doesn’t mean an eternity away from God. It means an eternity WITH GOD! However, until He comes back or we pass on, we have to live in this broken world of sin. This means dat we are going to struggle with temptation. So yes, I am going to struggle with these things from time to time but the fact that God has rescued me from these before means that He’ll do it again. I trust in His competence & I will do my part to make sure I’m not straying off of the path. God will pick up where I lack. It is my weakness that displays His strength.
