Lokius Halloween 2025 - Day 4: Black + Apple

Idunn's apples give eternal youth to the gods, they rely on them to remain young and healthy. Prince Loki offers one to his beloved mortal Mobius, but will he accept?

Hello and Welcome! While complaining about “Summerween” the other day, I realized it’s a perfect time to start planning an actual Halloween event. So here it is: a low-key, 4-day Halloween themed event for Lokius!

I know it’s early to even think about Halloween, but I also wanted to give people plenty of time to plan/prep/participate. While this event is intended to be low-key, I do have a few ground rules:

Lokius is the focus! Side pairings/polyships are okay but Lokius must be the focus.

Related to that, no ship hate. I do not care. None.

Tag appropriately on your posting platform. I will not be sharing things not tagged.

NSFW is welcome but see above - tag appropriately.

Works above a PG-13/Teen rating are recommended to be behind a cut or separate link. I may not share posts with excessive violence/gore/sex unless they are behind a cut/linked.

AI works are not welcomed and will not be shared.

Now I may have gone overboard with the prompts. I tried to choose things that could overlap but also be diverse enough in hopes that everyone who wants to participate could find something inspiring! Each day has the following prompts: a color, a food, a theme, a song, a movie, and a quote. And I did a bonus day’s worth of prompts too.

Thanks for the tag, @elodiah! It's a bit early for me, but I'm excited to share. I finished my second story for @lokiushalloween the other day, so here's a little bit more of it!

The innocent expression Loki sent him then was almost comical in its hyperbole. The wide eyes, the brows furrowed upwards, the slightly open mouth; it was like he'd practiced in a mirror. Mobius was surprised he hadn't magicked a halo to appear over his head to really sell it. "I'm sure I don't know what you mean," Loki insisted, holding his hands at his sides palm-out. "Oh, really?" Shifting the bowl to one arm, Mobius shot out a hand to dig in the waistcoat pocket of Loki's costume before his beloved husband could stop him. Loki barely got out a hasty sound of protest before Mobius was retreating again, holding up a fun-size Snickers bar triumphantly. "What d'you call this, then?"

I don’t know if this will become anything but if it does, it’ll be my annual Halloween fic, this time for @lokiushalloween.

Mobius needed to wake up. He needed to open his eyes and move. Run. His instincts, even through his mental fog, were screaming at him to get out. He fought his way to consciousness - and immediately regretted it.

He was restrained from his shoulders to his ankles and, when he swallowed, he felt the telltale tightness of a Time Collar around his throat. The bindings were hardly necessary if the person who’d done them also had the collar’s controller. Which meant this, whatever this was, was something personal. And unfortunately, as a TVA employee, the list of variants who would want revenge on him was rather long.

There was a click of a well-heeled dress shoe to his right and Mobius’ eyes finally snapped open.

“Ah, so you are awake.”
