Loki’s hands tell a story

Hi. I’m Ceno. I’m also known as KhamanV on Ao3. My contributions to the Marvel fandom include over a million words of fic contained in the SHIELD Codex, where Loki is just as emotionally fraught and lonely a soul as you could want, finally makes some friends, and beats the shit out of evildoers. Sometimes he exorcises haunted houses.

I am not an ally to Loki’s Army. My position on Loki is that, yes, he’s troubled, emotionally wrecked, Odin sucked as a dad, and Thor had no idea how overshadowing he was. Loki is also responsible for the terrible shit he did, while also dealing with the trauma inflicted on him. It’s a complicated situation for MCU Loki, which means there’s no simple resolution. He’s not an innocent soul, as the Army implies, nor is he fully evil. He’s also not likely to engage a therapist in my ‘verse, so Phil Coulson and the gang do their best to help recalibrate Loki’s conscience. It’s going okay.

I am also a massive supporter of Comics!Loki, from Kid!Loki, classic goblin asswipe Loki to the current genderfluid and pansexual iteration. I don’t know if Disney has the spine to lean into that all the way, but it’d be nice. I use he/him pronouns for Loki because the character doesn’t mind and I’m an eager slut for his Hiddleston version.

Most criminally, I liked Thor: Ragnarok and don’t buy that it was a mutilation of everything that Loki stood for. So, if any of that’s your thing, know that I won’t go out of my way to jump into your shit. I do think there’s valid criticism of the film, of course. I’m also personally squicked by Thorki, but I 100% support your ship and fandom creations and will never, ever give you shit for it.
