think the problem I’m hitting with my King Arthur story is that at its core it’s about Mordred and Loholt and I keep trying to back up a couple years and lead up to Loholt but I just don’t have any inspiration for that
So maybe I should start the story with Mordred getting knighted and taking Loholt as his squire. Then they can have adventures etc while I lead up to Arthur’s having Loholt assassinated, that way it will have the emotional punch it needs to have,
otherwise I’m just TELLING you Mordred loves Loholt and not SHOWING you
for the first (and probably last) time i wrote the death of loholt at the hands of kay, it is not a murder of greed and jealousy though, it’s done out of a paternal sense of love and protection

So, "Deifnyawc" or "Well-Endowed" essentially means Inheritor/Heir, and given its Gawain and Loholt, they would have some serious inheritence.
I wonder if Rhiwallawn is Rhiwallon ap Urien, one of Owain's brothers. That completes the trio: Arthur's son, Lot's son and Urien's son. Three men set on recieving sizeable estates from their parents.

The lost glories of Llacheu in Welsh poetry....
Also Llacheu being etymological close to word "llachar" means that "Loholt Pendragon" may translate as "Shining Chief Warrior" or "Brilliant Chief Warrior"
The Bright One, son of Bear and White Spirit (oh that makes sense)
