A neon glow washed over the interior of the small booth shortly after deft fingers flicked the light switch. Once it stammered a time or two, the buzz of the bright ON AIR sign sounded like home. “ This-” his grin turned to Shōta while he gestured to the interior of the room, “is where the magic happens.” He beelines for a cabinet behind the recording space, pulling open a drawer stuffed to the brim. “We’ll go live in twenty minutes. I usually stick with modern stuff but I think this warrants a special occasion.” He whipped out a Twenty-Five Anniversary Queen album, waggling his eyebrows as he held it under his chin. “I know this isn’t really your thing, but is there something you’d like me to add to the roster tonight? ” His excitement at having convinced his friend to be here is only second to actually seeing him in the studio, attempting to keep his energy to a minimum (and failing miserably) for the sake of Shōta’s comfort.
