I've reached Day 100 in Blue Prince which means I've solved about as many parlor puzzles. (Maybe more. Thanks, mirror room!) Here's my ranking of the best boxes I've seen:

That one logic puzzle about one person telling only the truth and one person telling only lies and you have to find out who is who with one question, but make it Pure Vanilla and Shadow Milk.
I need all the Murdle books. I need them now. I also need a whole novel about Logico and Irratino with appearances from the many many other reoccurring characters, that I can jump and shout about when I read them.
With a film and a spin off series. Please and thank you 🫶
after two months of painstaking effort over about 80 hours i have solved every puzzle in the artisan of glimmith, a grid logic puzzle game by lunarch studios with over 1,000 hand-crafted puzzles written by the best of the best
(also becoming one of the very few games i own where i have all the steam achievements on it)
i didn't mark my favorite levels as i went so i would have to trawl through to find things i remember but there was so much good stuff in it and some really hard stuff also. truly this is like an insane collection written by the only team in the entire world who can do it in any reasonable, cost-effective way.
Something I really like about doing math/logic puzzles is how a given puzzle can initially feel so opaque and overwhelming, but then you just start to work on one part of it. It may be slow at first, but you eventually hit a tipping point. Then, the puzzle almost seems to solve itself and it's just a matter of how quickly your hands can add the remaining parts of that solution.

Wormriddle
Once Regent and Imp argued about who was the better rider. Bitch was not against letting the dogs stretch their legs and designated an old water tower as a landmark to which the riders should get and return.
The dogs crouched down like coiled springs, Regent and Imp stood nearby, ready to mount them and ride on command, but then Tattletale suggested making the task a little more interesting: the winner would be the one whose dog came in last, not first. At the same time, no superpower could be used (this rule is for everyone, except Rachel: the dogs retain their altered appearance). This new condition made the previously cheerfully grinning couple look at each other in thought and scratch their heads.
The delay would have lasted much longer if Skitter had not muttered a few words, after which the competitors jumped on the dogs and raced towards the tower.
What solution was proposed to comply with Tattletale's condition?

My FIAB Gifts!
Fic in a Box is an exchange where you have to create 10k words (or equivalent) total, but there are like a million mediums to choose from plus you can swap out some of your assignment so that not all of the 10k has to go to the same person.
It's still in the anon period so I can't link to any of my works yet, but I wanted to show off the gifts I got because they're so cool! I actually didn't get a single fic in this exchange, which honestly is pretty neat.
Fandom: Supernatural
A Softer Supernatural - A Softer World style panels, with text from the original but graphics from SPN. Jack Kline-centric, these are so lovely and painful.
Fandom: The Magnus Archives
Field Notes on Survival for Victims of the Magnus Institute - This is so neat! It's in the style of a zine (you can even print it out and fold it), but it's an in-universe document, a pamphlet for Jon's victims when he was in his Hungry Archivist era. Including a QR code that links to the episode that inspired it (which I relistened to, so this was a cool multimedia experience) and some extra lore in the author's notes that you cannot miss, it makes it even better.
Fandom: The Untamed
Junior Quartet puzzle time - This person made me not one but TWO Untamed-themed logic puzzles! I guess it's not quite accurate to say I got no fic, because these do have stories as framing devices for why you need to solve the logic puzzles, which are adorable and perfect.
ETA: Oops, just realized the second puzzle didn't make it into the series! There are definitely two.
These are all things that I would never have looked for or expected, this exchange generates such cool stuff! I hope I can participate again next year! Please go give these some love.
Works are anon until Dec 20, after that I'll post links to the stuff I made, which are also not all fics! (But some definitely are)
