Our first ever Summer shringar, Mangala Aarti at Nathdwara. This was such an exhilarating experience. Just days after Janmashtami, the Haveli is still in an afterglow of the festivities. 18th August on a Ekadashi. As it's summers and it's an early morning Aarti, Thakur ji wears a saffron dyed Uparna in light Muslin, and some light jewels, one could really see the full glory this monolithic idol, the mesmerising fish shaped eyes and enormous diamond on the chin.
