Okay this is a bit dark, but you said if MC dies in the game he dies in real life. I'm assuming at that point the game stops or the characters forget. Let's they don't for whatever reason.. how would they act at MC's funeral? Would any of them move on or find another love?

Tomohiro would never be the same friendly neighborhood boy. He doesn't cry at the funeral but his frustrations show when he's alone. Punching through walls and hurting his teammates. He'd become a brooding loner who thinks only of training and isolates from his friends for a while. It takes a long time before he can open up again. It's hard to replace a childhood love.
Kotose's grades fall and he can't focus at practice. His mind isn't there because of the shock of losing MC. His father would make him go to therapy to get over the grief and return to being an academic. He'd eventually heal and come to terms with his identity, though the regret of never telling MC how he felt and the idea of what they could have been remains.
Satsuma is normally quiet, but he's almost silent now. He shed quiet tears at the funeral. It would be hard for him to find someone new. Not many have the courage to approach him and he keeps to himself. Thinking of MC's openness to helping people like Yumeki and Takumo, he'd try to be the same in his honor.
Yumeki would be inconsolable. he'd be at MC's grave every night, talking to him as if he's still there. Yumeyo would have to make him go to therapy because it's so concerning. He imagines what they could’ve been to the point where he becomes delusional and thinks MC’s spirit is calling out to him.
Yanagi is filled with emptiness. He continues to go through missions in his world, not caring if a bullet grazes him or however many injuries he receives. It doesnt matter to him if he completes a mission or if he fails. Sometimes he visits springtime to sit in the park or drive by mc’s school or house. Experience a semblance of peace before he snaps and tries to end the sim.
