#lobegate

I understand that many are confused about lobegate — to be honest, so am I — so I hope this post will help people understand what the hell it is.

It all started on January 7th, 2025 when a bunch of Byler tumblrs started receiving anonymous pro-mileven asks (later revealed to be sent by bylers in disguise). Most notably, a lot of these asks were directed at @noihavenosanitythanksforasking . In this ask, the asker misspelt love as ‘lobe’, hence the name Lobegate (named by @tripleatechie ). 

Lobegate in itself is the asks that were sent to various byler tumblrs, and the search of the identity of the anon who was sending them. This is just the beginning of lobegates lore, though.

Originally, the pro-mileven asks were being sent by @somewiseoutthere , (i believe originally caught by @itslikesearcingforsomething ) who has admitted to be guilty and claims to have started sending them because of boredom.

they have been confirmed as a sender of the original pro-mileven asks.

The second person who admitted being guilty for sending the asks was @itwasaseven7

they have also been confirmed as an original sender, however they claim to have only sent asks to @noihavenosanitythanksforasking

There were two others claimed to be senders in the original asks ( @red-raven707 , and @noihavenosanitythanksforasking ,) however we do not have proof for either of these claims.

Eventually the original askers were named ‘Lobers’

Originally Lobegate was the search for the identity’s of the askers. We found them. So how did it keep going from there?

Lobegate was not the end.

In this ask, the Mileven cult name Mitochondria Metamorphosis Mob (MMM) was revealed. 

They started sending anonymous asks to people, trying to recruit as many people into the MMM as possible. 

It was then revealed that the MMM’s  intentions were to fight against the Bald Mike presidency campaign, and to promote milkshakes and baseball. Ultimately, their goal was to prove Mileven as the superior ship, but it evolved past that.

Nobody knew who the MMM was, but many suspected they were linked to the Lobers.

It was then revealed that the MMM and the Lobers were completely different organisations, through an ask sent to @sykatz

At this point there were 3 groups. 

The Lobers

The MMM

The Bald Mike Nation (the true bylers; everyone fighting against the MMM)

@clericallyinsane then assumed that the MMM was duolingo in this post, however that wasn’t true but the MMM had instead formed an alliance with Duolingo (yes, the green bird). They claim to have made this alliance to take down Bald Mike in the upcoming election. 

At this point the MMM was still trying to recruit people, but they sent out asks telling people that their beliefs are: Bald Mike is not a good candidate, Lobe for life, And the praise of the holy items, milkshakes and baseballs.

Here things between the Bald Mike nation and the MMM began to slow down, and the Lobers were nowhere to be seen. The original lobers had logged off at this point, however some believe that there were unidentified Lobers that had joined the MMM.

It was then revealed that the MMM Leader was named Baseball Boy. They started threatening people that the MMM would be after them if they continued their hunt to discover the identities of the MMM.

But this didn’t stop the Bald Mike nation, if anything this motivated us to discover their identities.

It was then revealed that there was fighting in the MMM between Baseball Boy and his cousin, Baseball Girl, not knowing who started the MMM in an ask sent to @dia-depeche. Many people believed we could use this to our advantage to take the MMM down.

the discourse in the MMM made the operation fall. @dynamicccsworld was kicked out of the MMM, and outed as Baseball Boy himself in this post.

Baseball boy then started sending binary code to @thegayestaddams and other people in the Bald Mike nation, sending ominous messages.

Since then Baseball Boy has now been found dead, as is no longer associated with the MMM.

All of the binary code was trying to tell us about something Bald Mike had done in the past, claiming that “we would soon understand”.

soon after it was revealed in this post (news article) that Bald Mike had claimed the local village, aka the land of baseballians, aka the original home of the MMM for himself (which was revealed later to supposedly be located in england).

However, contradicting this original news article, through this ask send to @ikwhatyouaremikewheeler , Baseball Boy claimed that Mike destroyed the local village instead of taking it over.

“A town, small but quaint. Destroyed, nobody's screams were faint. A man named Jesse, next to Bald Mike. Left their bad actions behind, until tonight.” We believe that the Jesse mentioned in this poem is Jesse Pinkman, who supposedly helped Bald Mike destroy the local village. He’s also been confirmed as Bald Mike’s best friend in this ask.

Since then, @clericallyinsane has claimed that the original news article was forged, and it not real in this post. they also found proof of this here.

From this we know that Bald Mike destroyed the local village with 3 waterfalls, original home of the baseballians.

This caused many members of the MMM to lose their homes, and is why they are so against Bald Mike (and, by extension, created the MMM). This inicident has been dubbed the ‘Walter White’ incident

There were also mentions of Will’s favourite Car, who is a person (also known as milkvan, the vehicle) working for Baseball Girl. It was first mentioned in this post, and later in this post.

After Baseball Boy had died, his cousin, Baseball Girl took over the MMM.

Baseball Girl leading the MMM, she started claiming that something big is coming in, one of these claims in this post.

Unforetunately, at this point Baseball Girl had been supposedly killed through an ask sent by Will’s Favourite Car. Although, the MMM didn’t remain leaderless for long as she had been replaced by ‘New Baseball Girl’,

It was then realised that Bald Mike was hiding in the local village, unable to protect the Bald Mike nation in this ask. He was supposedly disgusting himself as a baseballian so they wouldn’t recognise him and turn on him.

In this ask (I highly recommend reading it) the true story of November 2nd, or the ‘Walter White’ incident was revealed. Bald Mike did in fact destroy the local village.

Then, in this ask we learned that the New Baseball Girl was actually the original Baseball Girl’s twin sister, who claims to have the trust of the Queen of milkshakes and baseball. At this point the New Baseball Girl had taken leadership of the MMM.

It was then discovered that the original Baseball Girl was not actually dead, but instead had faked her death and had just fled the MMM out of stress. This was discovered in this ask.

New Baseball Girl had now released plans on her intentions to destroy the Bald Mike nation.

Since then, the original Baseball Girl has made a reappearance in this ask, claiming that her sister, New Baseball Girl, tried to assasinate her while she was working at the milkshake factory(?) and framed her and acted like she left the MMM, making her seem like a coward. We do not know if original Baseball Girl plans on taking over the MMM once again.

While the fighting between Baseball Girl and New Baseball Girl continued, it had been confirmed in this ask and this ask that Will’s Favourite Car was the one who killed Baseball Boy.

Then there was a new person introduced, U. N. Owen, first appearing in this post. He seems to have kidnapped Bald Mike from the local village, and plans to keep him hostage until further notice.

After Bald Mike went missing, many other people also went missing from Hawkins. In this news report (i recommend reading) it is discovered that Baseball Girl is behind these dissapearences. She confirms this herself in this ask.

However, while Bald Mike was missing we discovered a little bit about Bald Mike’s past in this ask. Basically, during a meeting with George Seymour Kent and his partner, U. N. Owens, the Walter White incident was brought up and upset Bald Mike to the point of hypnotising them with the shine of his bald head.

George Seymour Kent claims that the Light (of Bald Mike’s head) makes you forget things, and to not look into it. He mentions an “infection” but doesn’t go into any further detail. He was later found dead. His death seems to be the reason why U. N. Owens got involved in this, as George and Owens were dating.

Since then, New Baseball Girl seems to had dissapeared. In this ask, Baseball Girl gives up loooking for her (and fighting her) and decides to focus on bringing back Bald Mike to the MMM.

People involved in this plan were U. N. Owens, Will’s Favourite Car, and a new member of the MMM, Tick Tock.

After Bald Mike was safely secured at the MMM, Baseball Girl decided to shift her priorities onto finding Jesse (Bald Mike’s best friend). This was revealed in this ask. It was also known that Baseball Girl would not kill Bald Mike until they found Jesse.

Many, Many attempts were made to find Jesse, most of them failed.

However, in one final battle, Jesse managed to find Bald Mike, then the MMM, and led U. N. Owens, Baseball Girl and Tick Tock (revealed later to be @your-ivy-grows13 ) to their deaths (This is the shortest summary, please go and read @byler-endgayme ‘s finale here).

New Baseball Girl had dissapeared after this incident, and is also assumed to be dead.

In the end, the power of love between Bald Mike and Jesse was enough to save the Bald Mike nation and take down the MMM.

Lobegate took place over 2 days and ended on January 9th, 2025.

pastagate/rigatonigate (jan 2nd) - noah posted a picture of a door with 'rigatoni' written on it. everyone decided rigatoni was will's new love interest. [similar to mikhailgate]

lobegate (jan 7th) - a byler was going around sending fake mileven asks to other bylers. in one of them they accidentally wrote 'lobe' instead of 'love'. this incident + the quest to search for their identity has been dubbed lobegate. (update: full list of possible lobe anons by @sykatz)

promgate (jan 10th) - this post explains it in full but tldr @lyricallyxo was directing a production of the prom on jan 10th (at 7pm est) and we all tried to get byler to trend for it.

plaguegate (jan 17th/18th) - honestly i was asleep while most of this went down so here's a post by @mrincrediblyblind explaining it.
