Thanks to Lo-pie for premiering our video for “It’s A Stealer” (Surf Version), a kind of melancholy farewell to LA before we move to the East Coast in the spring.

Peach Kelli Pop was great (amazing!) and everything, plus it helped that we had some first edition vinyl that we got her to sign, but the main reason we were there was for San Fernando Valley band Tongues. Now, even though the band hasn’t been around for too long, they’ve exploded onto the scene having been big participants in it for years. Singer and guitarist Marcos Vaca who recently interviewed Chad Ubovich for us is one of the most honest and straightforward people we know, and in an industry of fluff and bullshit, that is one of the most refreshing qualities imaginable. We had the chance to interview the band at a crucial moment in their uprising, and you can see for yourselves how knowledgeable, relatable and badass they truly are.
