Medraut as a med student, Lleu as his sickly brother who is dependent on his skills to survive (like hunting for example), the decline of morality that makes them commit acts of incest. Medraut as the brother who prioritizes Lleu's health and wants to isolate himself and Lleu in the hospital wing until the nightmare is over wheras Lleu wants to explore the world and look for a cure/other survivors. Morgause as the one whose unethical experiments started the whole thing and who has seized power over half of the city since she's the only one who knows how to stop the virus from spreading. Medraut with a dark past, who was Morgause's assistant in her project and received an immunity to the virus for a crippled hand as the price.

how much do you think is Lleu actually resembling Morgause and how much is it Medraut projecting onto Lleu and provoking him to act like Morgause and Lleu, mainly motivated by survival, adapting Morgause's cruelity indirectly because he is learning it through Medraut who had been instructed by Morgause?

Medraut says Guinevere read the revelations to Lleu. We have never seen Lleu read or write. The early medieval nobility was essentially a warrior class and dictated their letterts to scribes and clerics. Do you think it's possible that Lleu could be illiterate? Artos strikes me as a well-read man who values a good education and he knows classics such as Oedipus Rex, but he might have neglected that part of Lleu's education and focused on his training in material arts instead, because Lleu wasted the majority of his childhood in sickbed and Artos had little time to whip him into shape. I think Goewin can read, but Lleu doesn't seem like he would care to learn it as long as he had people who would read to him. I also can't see him stay in his classroom and stay still for more than half an hour befor growing restless. He's been bedbound for so long, he just wants out into the fresh air and move his body.
