It has been a minute since there’s been a minute to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea and a homemade banana flip roll. Are you familiar with the old fashioned banana flip? It was a sweet folded up banana cake filled with a heavenly fluffy filling. It was enjoyed many a time by Marc @chilling_in_appalachia and I on the front porch of Granny’s soda and candy shop along with a homemade soda. There’s something to be said for the simple things in life, the things that while they’re happening feel pretty mundane. Often it is only in hindsight that we realize those were “the good ol days”. We can change that though. We can decide that everyday is pretty great.
