Welcome to Los Santos Live Lounge! The show where you get to listen LIVE and watch later. We would like to say a big thank you to those who helped us prepare Los Santos Live Lounge, it’s been a wild few months but we’re finally here!

We have a very special guest who we will be interviewing today, it’s an honour to welcome Chanel Venturas to Live Lounge today!

LSLV: Hi Chanel, how are you? It’s great to have you here.

Chanel: Hey! I’m doing really good and I’m so happy to be here! It’s an honour to be the first guest!

LSLV: How do you feel about being the first guest to appear on Los Santos Live Lounge?

Chanel: I feel honoured! I love what this show is going to bring, and I have a good feeling about it. Thanks so much for having me.

LSLV: What was it like growing up for you? Did you expect yourself to come as far as you did?

Chanel: To be honest, I didn’t expect to come this far! I was always known as the friend to Jen Clermont and Thailee Keener, and both girls are very well known and very successful! They both knew the love I had for music, and they knew I would eventually get into it, and then I was already friends with Rxch Escobar, and he basically told me we should go into the studio together, so we did and created “Worst Behaviour” as my first single, and it’s become my biggest hit!

LSLV: If you could tell past you anything, what would it be?

Chanel: I would love to tell the old me...not to take things so serious, and don’t let little things bother you, I’ve had so many arguments in the community and it’s just not worth getting so mad over, I mean I will never stop arguing because I’m a strong woman, and I don’t take shit from anyone and I’m very opinionated, which has caused these arguments oops haha. But yeah, I would just tell the old me not to take things so serious.

LSLV: What made you love writing and making music?

Chanel: Music has just always put a smile on my face, and I love listening to new music, like I have so many favourite artists, so when I had the opportunity to get my name out, it was amazing, and making music is just as fun as listening to music.

LSLV: If you could change one thing, what would it be?

Chanel: If I could change one thing in the music industry, would be I wish I didn’t rush my second album, but because my label at the time wanted me to put the second album out just after I did “A Night With Chanel” and the success from it, so I wish I kinda dropped it a few months after, but it still broke records so I can’t be mad at that

LSLV: What fellow artists intrigue you?

Chanel: Oh, I have so many favourites but I always tend to gravitate to the artists that put in the work, because I’m sorry these lil boy rappers thinking they’re 10/10, but hardly put in the work just don’t give anything but attitude. But, my favourites would be Missy Dada, Nashe Ménage, Rxch, Andre King, Libras, Nathan Perry, Jack Moore and honestly I have more, the list goes on but they’re my top favourites to be honest.

LSLV: Are you excited for Sunset Festival?

Chanel: Yes!! I’m so excited! I can’t wait to go back on stage and see my fans, I’ve missed them so much!

LSLV: What should fans expect from you in the future?

Chanel: Fans should expect NEW MUSIC! A worldwide tour, another Night with Chanel concert, and many more exciting projects!
