I kind of disappeared for a while (life happened), mostly because my uncle ended up in the hospital. He's home now and doing a lot better, so things are finally settling down.

I was originally planning to join kinktober this year, but honestly? With everything that’s been going on in the world lately, I'm just more in the mood for something soft. So instead, I'm doing Flufftober! 

I’ve missed writing and interacting with you all. It feels good to be back.

Just chillaxing, y'all. Just chillaxing. I did something huge today, though. I stood up for myself and finally told my dad that he needed to step away. I didn't ask for his help; he offered it and then kept bringing it up. He is the one who has been gaslighting me my entire life, only it's gotten so much worse recently, as I've stated before, and I finally, calmly, put a stop to it and put the boundaries out there, and they're not going to be crossed at this point anymore.

I'm going to be here and there today, standing up to the man who abused me in any way he could for the first time, and sticking to it was a lot more draining than I thought, but I did not break down; I did not cry.

I am scared, yes, but I am also overcome with so much relief that I no longer have to be scared of him. Physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, medically... I finally am going to be the one making choices for my life instead of finding out later that he's been committing fraud and forging my signature and may have even been collecting disability on my behalf without my knowledge.
