This on the 2022 Skinty Fia tour, Grian and Curley dropped by to play beautiful acoustic versions of The Couple Across The Way, Roman Holiday and a cover of Sinead O’Connor’s Black Boys on Mopeds. In the interview they talk about touring America, inspiration from Outkast and Sinead and themes on Skinty Fia. Grian has a lovely singing voice, and as people had been criticising him through Dogrel and A Hero’s Death about the monotonic vocals, he can really sing. He’s got a beautiful, considered and slightly delicate voice, and it suits these new contemplative renditions of the songs completely.
