Arkham Knight’s words are clipped. “Are you saying I have cat ears?” It takes Dick’s brain a generous moment to catch up. He’s all gunked up, slow to process. Definitely not firing on every cylinder. Probably not even half of them. “Yeah.” Dick narrows his eyes, gaze locked on said ears. “Don’t you?” “They’re b–” Arkham Knight snaps, then abruptly cuts himself off. Takes an audible breath even through the helmet. “No. I don’t.” “You totally do,” Dick argues, tone dreamy. His eyes slide back down. He grins. “It’s cute. You’re a kitty cat. Big, buff, scary kitty cat.” — Dick gets a concussion mid-fight and is miraculously saved by none other than the Arkham Knight. While waiting for the cavalry, they chat. It leads to something neither of them quite expected.

i, too, upon seeing arkham knight had the thought "kitty???" and it feels only right that dick gets the chance to say it to jason's (obscured) face. funny and cute ♡
