Im very very proud of this cardigan. It was a huge gamble for I was testing a new construction pattern, a new colorwork pattern on 1mm needles zD

I had to undo the collar several times, learned many new technique on the go… it was quite the adventure and then … it wasn’t fitting Rowen body well 💀💀💀

It fits Rin but the color don’t suits her at all (i had to swipe wig for the pics to work xD)

It’s still something I learned a lot from and it does look well finished mostly.

Showing off two of my favorites: Eira, my LTF Hwayu and her own imaginary friend Wulfram (Wolf Man AKA Wolf because a toddler can’t pronounce his name)

Wulf came to me as just a head from a friend with a wicked faceup that I loved, but was showing its age. So I had it redone with some additions that gave him this amazing Kabuki/moth inspired face. He did steal Etienne’s outfit though… but the dripping in smoke/oil spill butler look really works for him.

Since I acquired a third Fairyland LTF Juri 2013 faceplate, I decided I needed to mod her eyes completely closed and repaint the other two faceplates as well to match them all together. Only the fully open eyed faceplate is unmodded.

To be honest, I'm not really happy with how the eyebrows and lashes turned out, but they are as they are now, and I'll probably redo the faceups, eventually. Not anytime soon, since it's a lot of work to paint 3 fantasy faceups to match each other, and I have others I'd like to redo first. I'm still practicing thinning acrylic paints properly, I'm still so used to watercolor paints instead...

my first fairyland bjd, a complete impulse purchase.

she is very cute, but i think i do regret her a bit. i paid about $340 for her impulsively bc denver doll had her in stock and i live in the area so i could just go pick her up. i wanted a little doll to take around with me places so i picked her up.

she’s about the same price as my dollzone msd boy was, and i’m disappointed w the fitting of the faceplate and the seam lines! i wasn’t aware that fairyland is known for having such exaggerated seam lines. arm, torso, neck.

obviously you can’t tell the faceplate is ill fitting w a wig on i just never noticed anything like this in any unboxing video i watched!

anyways, she’s cute! just have a few grievances with her… not sure if i love the faceup but i do love her sculpt. i’ll definitely enjoy her more when i can pick up some clothes and maybe a different wig i feel fits her better. maybe something dark, and eventually get rid of the blue eyeshadow. i think i want to try sewing her some things, and work on a faceup for my yosd boy.

in other news, still waiting on my supia girl. obviously. it’s literally been like less than a month LOL. i couldn’t resist from getting a new doll i had money burning in my pocket and aGhh now i’ll have 4 dolls 2 girls and 2 boys. definitely won’t go crazy and buy any more for a while bc some gift buying events are coming up.
