🎀 Do they wear a specific accessory with a special meaning behind it? What is their usual fashion sense like? What do they wear when they want to be comfortable and what do they wear when they’re going to a fancy party? Or do they just not care?
Saerno often isn’t one for accessories, and yet he almost always can be seen sporting a pair of rose gold ear cuffs. Even to the untrained eye, one can obviously see the wear and tear evident upon its scratched and blemished surface, but when Saerno’s asked why, he merely states it adds to their meaning. It’s his first gift, after all, from the one man who loved him until the very end.
As for his usual fashion sense, well, before Saerno had met his good friend Percival, his sense of fashion was... unfortunate, to say the least. Thankfully, his poor taste was rectified by the time he realized having a smidge of self-confidence could make all the difference. Nowadays his style can be summed up in three words: Tailored, practical and monochrome. Saerno knows what he looks good in, and strives to always look the best he can, no matter what. Yeah, he might be a little conceited when it comes to appearance, but it’s better than when he was a walking ball of negativity.
When it comes to comfort, it’s much of the same, except he may (keyword: may) spare himself some slack and wear a loose shirt/coat. Unfortunately, he has something of a distaste for loose pants, and you’re likely to never find him in a pair.
For more fanciful outings, Saerno spares no expense in trying to look as best as he can. Well, expense is a bad word for it as his best friend happens to be a tailor, so let’s just say effort. He can always rely on Percival to make him look like he’s worth at least a million gil, but it almost always comes at the expense of some comfort, whether it be a corset constricting his midsection, or a pair of breeches hugging a tad too close to you know where.
