i cannot believe y’all are sleeping on the live acoustic version of sunlight. i mean, yeah, I adore from eden, but c’mon. this is next level. 

i know it's not the same situation, but just to illustrate how that insane hatred feels for the person who's exposed to them. i like the whole thing, but especially from the 57:30 mark. obviously contrapoints is not the same as sebastian stan, but these things work in similar ways, and she too was cancelled over someone she was associated with.

i'm not gonna defend his actions, although to me that pic spoke more about ignorance than malice, i've myself been wary abt a few of his actions and statements in the past, and the ppl he chooses to have in his life, i thought the spain thing was blown way out of proportion, but yeah it was a bad look. i'm simply saying that him blocking ppl who attack and harass himself or ppl he's close to is perfectly understandable, how on earth can anyone take that shit, and over something he did't even do himself.

if y'all wanna cancel him or whatever, just do, just unfollow him, stop watching his movies and support him financially, don't send hate and personal attacks. if he loses fans and income he'll get the message.

and yes, i do think there's a difference between him and a jkrowling. she's doing incredible damage to a marginalised group, and continues to spread lies and misinformation. and even then i don't agree sending hate and threats, again punish her by not consuming her content and speak out against her views. i myself indulge in the odd terf baiting on twitter occasionally, but i don't target her directly. although, yes, i wish she was deplatformed so the damage she's doing can be suppressed.

the weird thing is that ppl are so critical of anon hate against regular ppl but when it comes to celebs they're supposed to answer every frothing anon? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

and hey. maybe all these ppl succeed, maybe they get him fired like james gunn got over 10yr old 'edgy' tweets. not that anyone will care bc bucky isn't a particularly popular character, but disney will succumb to backlash, they do it all the time.

anyways. i dunno why i do this, it seems there's a new discourse and scandal every time i log on. anybody want my 11 bucky pops?
