"I did promise such things and I do plan to deliver." she quipped back with a wink of an eye. "As for that, it'll be handled regardless."

The affection warmed her a great deal but Kya returned them with vigor enjoying it all. Lin’s laugh was like music to her ears and she couldn’t help but lean in closer toward her. Her face settled to rest against a worn palm and she managed a grin. “I love you too.”

The soreness and the pain almost felt numb to her as of late. It wasn’t the worst she could have been but it was an annoyance to her. Hearing Lin, she glanced up and moved a hand toward her despite what stiffness lingered. Her throat is a bit sore but she manages to speak. “Stay.”
