2 months ago Soph who has a beauty YouTube channel released her 3rd makeup collaboration with Makeup Revolution. In her newest collection she brought out 2 eyeshadow palettes, 3 duo highlighter sets and 2 lip kits. When I first got this collection everything was selling out so quickly so I grabbed what I could before it sold out.
But there was 1 lip kit set I really wanted to try which wasn’t my usual go to colours. Cut to a few months later and the collection has now had a restock and I managed to get my hands on the Makeup Revolution X Soph Lip Set in the shade Toffee Drizzle , £8.00. In her second collection she released lipsticks but never lip kits so this was a whole new product in the range. The Toffee Drizzle lip kit includes a toffee brown toned lip liner with a matching lightly tinted lip balm.
Tinted lip balms are a great way to throw some colour on your lips while hydrating your lips at the same time. Soph always lines her lips before putting any product on so it made sense her collection would include this. What I love most about the lip kits is for me personally I’m lazy when it comes to finding lip liners that match my lipsticks which is why I mainly use pillow talk lip liner. But with this collection it is made even easier. In the other lip kit it is a pink tinted lip balm and matching liner so it’s nice in one collection you have 2 completely different colour stories to choose from.
On my fair complexion this lip kit comes up on me and a browny red lip combo and since I have red hair it compliments it gorgeously. I also wanna give credit to the lip balm component because the way they have designed it looks so luxury and gorgeous. It would be easy to mistake for a high end product.
