Oh, fun question about future fics (hopefully)!

For those who don't know, "Imprint" is this: The moment soulmates make eye contact, they supposedly fall deeply, madly, in love. Wukong is fucking terrified of it and spends years avoiding Azure, his soulmate. Finally, when he gets a chance to break the bond, he takes it, by joining the quest of a certain crew.

The reason it's called "Imprint" is bc the soulmate part of the au is based off imprinting from Twilight. For those who don't know, it's a werewolf thing where a werewolf creates a soul bond with their destined mate the moment they meet, forcing romantic feelings, and it is deeply fucked up for several reasons.

Soulmate bonds work in a similar way here. The moment you meet your soulmate, they're all you can think about as the red string constricts around you. Wukong deeply cherishes his independence and hates this, while Azure wants nothing more than to cement the bond.

What would a Hocus-Pocus and Monkie Kid Crossover look like?

The idea I've liked the most has the Camel Ridge Trio as the Sanderson Sisters, with Wukong as Binx, Tripitaka as his sister, Macaque as Billy, Qi Xiaotian and Long Xiaojiao sharing the role of Max, Red Son as Allison, and Bai He as Dani.

Shadowpeach was a happy couple in the village until Peng tried to make advances on Macaque. When Macaque refused, Peng secretly killed him, and suspicion was cast on Wukong, who ended up befriending Azure. Azure fell in love...until Wukong caught the trio draining the life from his brother, and, enraged by the insults he aimed at him, Azure turned him into a cat.

1. ShadowPeach — Macaque x Wukong

This two are the literally the goshdarn ship I love and want to have more!!!!

I love how this two are literally have a chemistry evolving being friends to enemies to reluctant allies to somewhat friends.

This two both each have flaws and hurt eachother with or without reasons, depends on the setting and environment they are in

The fact that Macaque loves Wukong so much he even went through everything for the other safety, sacrifice himself and protecting and guarding Wukong even thought the two still didn't make up after everything they done to eachother and themselves?!??!!!

Also, the soft genuine look that Macaque gives to Wukong in every damn episode that connects their past and now present relationship? Yeah that's sales it 🥹😍

This also includes the fact that despite Wukong is ready to punch Macaque, he is reluctant and his hands shaking at the time of the Samadhi Fire ritual did happened, you can see it was minutes that Wukong is grabbing Macaque while his fist is in the air and him looking back when MK said the iconic line symbolizing apart of being a hero truly is.

And let's not forget that centuries of hatred and mistrust this two have, Macaque's undying love for Wukong and Wukong's undying trust he have of Macaque's. This version of them is seen a lot in the show that made me want to throw up from all the damn bitter and sweet that I taste from this gay monkeys.

2. PeachBite — Xiangliu x Wukong

Okay hear me out!!! So you guys ask why this number two even thought it have little screentime in the show???

Well~ you know I kinda see Xiangliu is like Macaque, both this two have a literal history and the fact that maybe Wukong did haunts this two's narrative which made me want more.

Xiangliu founds freedom because of the sun which the show symbolize as Wukong a lot since the show represent Wukong as the sun itself because of Macaque's shadow play (I love him for that)

The reveal of Xiangliu and the fact that his also an old friend and enemy of the Monkey King from his past, Wukong didn't remember any of that and Xiangliu is sadden at this fact and the hopeful look he have faded at this and he literally changed the subject in order to hide something that I want to KNOW WHAT!!!!

This two have something that I want to know so much I can't even stop myself from literally imagining this ship will be the main enemy of Shadowpeach itself

Okay I want to rant more but... I really need more screentime between this two.

3. SkullPeach (is that the name?) LBD — Wukong

So... Yeah.... Ahahha

Yeah... The reason as to why.... Well... I want to see this two literally destroy eachother to the point this two will just dismembered the others body and see the other suffer and find sick and godly satisfaction seeing their partner suffer both mentally and physically...

This ship is only for my own sadistic satisfaction...

4. LionPeach — Azure x Wukong

Ah~ yes... The one sided love that I honestly enjoys and want more

Azure for better or worst literally idolize and see Wukong as a God, he sees him as someone who makes a difference from the world around him

The fact that Azure is a hypocrite and literally and immediately can't admit his in the wrong and talk badly to Wukong, he still cares a lot and want Wukong to be there, after him and the other Camel Bridge trio finish their mission against heaven and the soft and gentle smile he given to Wukong as his last farewell to him in order to save reality itself... And the sad look Wukong have after it happens??? This two could be more if they have enough time and Macaque is out of the picture... Yeah I want that...

I'm a sucker for one sided love OKAY!?!!??!!

Macaque admiting to azure, centuries after the damage has been done and it's too late, that he purposely messed with and sabotaged azure relationships. Like azure knew macaque was clingy and could get violent if azure didn't play along, but until the confession had no idea of macaque more subtle manipulations. Didnt know just how far macaque went

(Prompt: Macaque has been in love with Wukong forever. But Wukong remains oblivious…)

“And he’s actually SO sweet! He might look all big and scary and mean but he’s like the nicest guy I’ve ever met!”

Macaque hated how happy Wukong looked as he raved on and on about his new boyfriend.

Macaque scowls while crossing his arms.

“Nice? Everyone can be nice at first. How do you really know if he’s a decent guy? He could be using you!”

Wukong was a bit indignant at this suggestion and said, “Come on Mac! You need to lighten up! Stop being so negative all the time. I promise, Azure is a GREAT guy!”

To Macaque’s dismay, Wukong blushes and says, “He makes me happy. And I can tell he means what he says. I think he might be the one.”

Wukong was so happy, he didn’t notice how Macaque’s face darkened, ears twitching with anger, and tail spiked with rage.

Happy? AZURE LION is the one who makes Wukong happy?! Not him?

Not Macaque who had been with Wukong since they were cubs. Not Macaque who had always played with him, taken care of him, cherished him.

Not Macaque, who had been madly in love with Wukong since the first day they had met.

No. It was always someone else. First it had been that Demon Bull King before he found Iron Fan and then it had been Nezha that prickly lotus prince.

And now it was Azure? Azure Lion was who Wukong decided would make him truly happy? Did he really believe that?

“Peaches, trust me. That guy will break up with you by the end of the month. He’s just using you because he wants to f*ck you.”

Unlike Macaque who wanted to both f*ck AND marry Wukong. Macaque didn’t just want Wukong’s body, he wanted ALL of him. His mind, his soul, his warmth. It should all belong to Macaque!!

Wukong was shocked that Macaque would say such a thing and retorted, “No he’s not! Stupid Mac! What’s wrong with you? You haven’t even met Azure yet!”

Wukong gets up and huffs angrily, leaving Macaque behind.

They had been walking home together after school. Like they always did. Macaque would walk Wukong home and then turn around and go to his house.

But today, Wukong didn’t want Macaque to follow him home.

Because of that f*cking lion.

It was all because of him. It wasn’t Wukong's fault at all. His sweet peaches was brainwashed by that awful Azure. He could never truly blame Wukong for making a simple mistake…

Regardless, Macaque slinks in the shadows, watching him as Wukong obliviously enters his house.

Your mine, my precious peaches. I can’t let anyone else have you…

Macaque leaves, a bit hesitant to leave his beloved alone.

But he had to do something first.

He goes to Azure Lion’s place. The Lion had no idea he was being watched.

As Azure starts to get sleepier, Macaque walks over to the bed where the Lion was snoring.

He pulls out his spiky baseball bat from his shadows.
