Pattern: frost lines by andrea mowry

Yarn: mc: Brooklyn tweed (rip) loft // cc: spincycle dyed in the wool, strawbaby colorway

I used US5s and knit a size 5 due to gauge differences, since these yarns are technically fingering weight. It is a very light wearing sweater, weighs absolutely nothing on my shoulders.

I wanted to show off the yarn - and I was afraid of running out of the mc tan bc I can't get more of it - so I did the cuffs in the spincycle, as well as added a very cute behind the neck detail i am in LOVE with.

Otherwise, the only mod is I knit the buttonband thinner, and shifted the buttons to be between stripes rather than at stripes. Thought it looked better.

Yarn, MC: Bluesky fibers, Woolstok Worsted, 150g skein. Midnight sea colorway

Needles: us7 for body, us8 for colorwork, us6 for cuffs

- as mentioned above, I own the cardigan version of this pattern and felt it better to adjust it from there. I learned a lot about customizing sweaters from this knit

-some adjustments: I knit a size 3 overall, but I split the sleeves at a number comparable to the largest size. When decreasing for the sleeves, I decreased 18sts within the first 10 rows, then followed the decrease pattern for the largest size - but aimed for the smallest size's stitch count.

- This is a pattern known for tight sleeves, so all my adjustments really helped. I definitely recommend shuffling the numbers around for your body shape.

- woolstok is an Incredible yarn, and I'm very lucky my LYS sells it in massive skeins given it's expense. I used one full skein and probably 2/3rds of the second one
