A term for one who looks younger than their age. This may mean one who has a "baby face," but does not have to be. This could be one who is petite, chubby, or any other characteristic associated with looking "younger" than one's actual age.

Axolotls remain in their larval state even once they are mature enough to reproduce (something called neoteny)! This means they retain "baby" features throughout their lives, which was the inspiration for this term! (very summarized explanation, in the interest of time... here is a longer one, linked!)

A suffix for combination gender/presentation terms.

-ossic terms have to do with a person's body (either innerworld or outerworld!) This can relate to the way a person wants their body to be treated, the way a person perceives their own body, the way a person wants others to perceive their body. They can relate to changes or modifications one wants to make to their body, and the way they want others to perceive those modifications.

WARNING: -ossic terms inherently involve some level of objectification, specifically the treatment of one's own body as an object separate from their mind or the soul. Beings who use -ossic terms should never be objectified without their explicit consent.

Most -ossic terms also involve some level of treating one's body as a "tool" or "accomplishment" with use or purpose. An "ossic body" is exclusively such to the being who uses the term and others they explicitly want to involve in their identity.

-ossic terms are not meant to relate to things like just wanting piercings, they are meant to relate to body modification and perception in the context of aesthetics, purpose, craft, and gender.

These terms (as defined by swanstarsrising) do not support harmful transition and are not radqueer terms.

Finally, -ossic terms are not intended as kink terms, though we are in full support if someone decides they'd like to make an -ossic term related to kink. The only harm that can arise is if someone were to assume an -ossic identity is based in kink when it is not.

BOI-QIRL

Boi-Qirl, is the combination of both boi and qirl. Both the spellings for the word Boi and the word Qirl, come from African American Vernacular English. I am coining this term as an androgynous counterpart to the widely known Boi and the lesser known Qirl. Irregardless of gender identity or sexuality anyone can be a Boi-Qirl

The most widely accepted definition of Boi-Qirl is a queer androgynous person whose androgyny is rebellious against and subversive of white cishetro gender norms,

Due to the fact that the spelling of both boi and qirl comes from AAVE, some people consider this to be a cultural and exclusive identity

The symbolism itself is meant to represent androgyny and the subversion and undoing of binary gender roles and presentations, the symbol for Mars has been replaced with a star, which represents beauty, passion and hope, the symbol for Venus has been replaced with a heart, representing power, joy and grace, both the heart and the star represent transcendence.

Transcending the roles and norms of white cishetro patriarchal gender roles and binaries into something beautiful powerful and undeniably queer.
