Linosa is a small island between Lampedusa and Sicily. The volcano from which it was born has left its colorful heart on display and you will be able to see intense yellows, dense browns and ochres that are reflected in the intense blue of the sea. Now, faced with so much color, it seemed impossible for the inhabitants of Linosa to have simple white houses as is customary in the Mediterranean. This is why they replicated the colors of the volcano and the sea, combining them with those of the sky. The result is houses that look like they come out of a cartoon or a children's fairy tale, with intense fuchsia, pink, yellow and ocher, burgundy and blue. As you walk through the small streets, you feel in a fantastic world, bigger than a dream, but immersed in the light and in the sea, a place where fantasy can be reborn making you forget the anxieties and nightmares of that world that exists beyond the horizon of the sea, with its grays, its silences, its cold and indifferent lights, its dark and hostile houses and the absence of that love that comes from the light and colors that nature creates with it.
(come se).
