Languages: English natively, with some Spanish, German, and Japanese.

This website allows you to submit your url, and then it shows you all of the problems/potential problems with your website/blog. It's very, very helpful (FYA is missing a heading on our "about" section, but that's it!), but you do have to be willing to do some research about how to fix many of the problems. And some tumblr themes just suck, no matter how willing you are to make adjustments.

one of the reasons ftom hits home with me is because i know what it’s like to leave everything behind (i’ve done it more than once), and try to fit back in to a “normal” day to day existence afterward. while i’ve travel cross country (also more than once), i’ve never done it on a bicycle, but i did ride in the boston to new york aids ride in 1996. to date, it remains the most difficult thing i’ve ever done physically, but it’s also one of the many experiences in my life i’ve never really talked about beyond the couple of funny/touching stories of things i either observed, or people i met during the ride. most people i know, don’t even know i did the ride. i’ve never really talked about the impact the ride had on me during, and perhaps more importantly, after.
