A Link that like, had to save his own hyrule like everyone else. But through prophetic visions and time shenanigans he finds out about the other heroes, almost all of them still children when they are send off to their deaths.
So he decides that this is bullshit and does time travel around the timelines, going to the points where the childrens adventures start. Knowing that he cant directly interfere he sets stuff up that is conveniently there.
Hes the one hiding items in the dungeons, rupees and hearts in the grass and reverses time if the children die.
When the child ends their quest, he disappears without a trace while only leaving legends behind him. Is what he thinks. While the gods make the temples for the children to prove their worth, he tries to intermingle himself into their timelines as much as he can which has consequences. Legends of a hero that is dedicated to protect children pop up throughout all timelines since he he has a lot of free time after preparing everything he can. So he does the next best thing, which is helping children everywhere bc why not. He loves bunnies a lot.

I dont post, like at all but i caved in to make a linksona, hecka late, but ive had the game for a week and ahh , im in love Meet Quill, my linksona - They/them , Selective mute, uses sign language, but will speak if needed - Long conversations, excitement - Their a  soft Quiet dork, who tries, and fails at befriending Lynels Died plenty of times, but wont give up - Anxious baby - Woke up being told , everything up to you, and just wow panic. Thats a big job - Being in a dark hole for a hundred years, and then suddenly being in the sun all the time, resulted in a lot of freckles to pop up. Freckles everywhere
- Prefers sleeping outdoors with their horse, Marmalade. Shes their beest freind, and is spoiled with carrots, and Apples.  Quill loves to braid and put flowers in her mane. They go everywhere together Preferring to horse back, then telport - makes them motion sick. - They try to take photos, but their not that good. Adores blupees, Small birds, Flowers, and deer. - They cook alot as well seeing as they are always on the road. (Though they get the , cant carry anymore meals, all the time :(  -  ) - Shock weapons are their favorite - their ears are always down , and their hair falls just above their wasit, its pulled back into a small downward ponytail Guess this could be seen as fanart as well I shrug
