In italiano,si dice 'fare sesso',in inglese 'to make love'. Il verbo to make,significa fare,costruire,realizzare. Ciò significa che l'amore bisogna costruirlo piano piano,passo dopo passo,per realizzare un'opera bellissima. Fare l'amore è come dire 'sono pronto a costruire qualcosa con te,qualcosa di solido e duraturo'.
Language is amazing.
I just had a conversation, in Italian, about linguistics. It blew my mind. Perhaps because I don't have many people to practice casually speaking with for long periods of time. But it was amazing to me. I think this is the first time I have used my Italian to converse with people in a proficient manner and not like, one sentence answers.
And on top of that, I already feel more confident with my skills and already see certain second language acquisition errors (phonological, syntactical, lexical, morphological all alike) correcting themselves.
Language fucking blows my mind.
