ALSO i forgot to add it, but i like to make the lines arohnd the face thicker, because your eyes are drawn to the darker areas, meaning it can create a center to the image.

in 1/8 scale, plan and section drawings should be primarily LINE DRAWINGS with added tone and texture to emphasize conceptual ideas (for example a paving pattern that goes from outside to inside to link interior and exterior spaces). 

Differences in line weights (heavy line weights for tectonic elements that are cut; light line weights for elements in elevation; very light line weights for notations) are crucial to make drawings legible.
