Heart's frustration and hurt because his parents didn't even make an attempt to learn sign language but chose to use scraps of paper to communicate (if we even can call it that) with him was showed so well by Gemini. The way Heart refused to use that notepad and instead exspects and needs his parents to understand him through sign language made me so proud of him. Heart made huge steps in self confidence since Li Ming stepped into his life and showed him the world.
Gemini is such a promising young actor, it takes real talent to be able to act the role of Heart and tell his story.

I wouldn't say that Moonlight Chicken EP1 is already hinting on a potential sob-worthy past with Li Ming. He's a bit rude and hot tempered, but his scene with Heart's parents was indignant. It's warranted! Let's not chalk it up to "Li Ming is reacting violently; his past must be involved around here" when he's clearly wronged and reacting in a way anybody would react. Heart lied about the accident, and now he has to work for something that's technically nobody's fault.
He's not overreacting. He's just reacting.
