I've only watched one episode of heartstopper and the rugby montage is so accurate
I've been playing sports my whole life, the pandemic was the first time I stopped
sometimes people on your team suck, they won't even look at your face outside training
but during traing you're a team, you play together and you need to give support to one another. they can HATE Charlie if they want to, some of them bullied him too, but they're including him and helping him and cheering for his small victories bc they're a team. inside the field/classroom/stage/whatever, it's another world, you're not the same person, and your dynamics change too
it's such a small scene but a really good scene
I know it's cliche but team sports do teach this kind of stuff to people, and growing up being able to play and compete is a privilege of which i am grateful and proud to have
edit:
idk if you noticed how nick was different during the rugby game? he was with Charlie, giving support, but he wasn't acting as his best friend even less his boyfriend. This is what I mean by you're a different person when the thing is happening: in there Nick was the captain of the team, Charlie was the player. Inside the field is a different world. It changes when Charlie gets hurt bc it turns in another situation now. Falling during the game? Whatever happens all the time. Getting hurt? No. That's serious.
So so so sooo accurate.

Hi! Iāve been listening to the song āBreak Freeā by Eurielle maybe a little too much and every time it reminds me of Andromaquynh. It just fits their story so well. What do you think?
Hi! Sorry for taking a while to answer! I didn't know this song, but I checked it out now and Omg the lyrics are so very very Andromaquynh
The first stanza alone:
When you came into my life
It was like a dream
Suddenly everything felt right
And I knew you completed me
You took me into your arms
And you promised me
Nothing would keep us apart
Not even the wildest sea
What is that if not the Andromaquynh first meeting and getting together??? The 'like a dream' is pretty self explanatory, then 'suddenly everything felt alright, I knew you completed me, you took me into your arms'- Andromache finding Quynh in the desert, A++!
Of course, then Quynh gets thrown into the sea...
But a storm rose
Black with envy
And she stole you away from me
So my heart froze
Now it's empty
The sea stole Quynh away, and it destroys Andromache, she can't smile anymore, can't love her life anymore...
Can you find a way to break free
Will I ever see you again
Oh where have you gone
This can't be how our story ends
Our love is much too strong
And they still love each other after so long, even when they can't find a way back to each other...
Day and night
I will fight
To release you from her chains
That's Andy trying to find her, never giving up!!!
Thank you so much for this ask, this was lovely, if also heartbreaking! I'll add a link to the song in a reblog if anyone wants to listen!
OUAT timeline speculation
so, Adam said on twitter thatĀ Ā āTimeline is meticulously maintained and followed and consistent,ā me, however, Iāve wasted dozens of pages of paper trying to follow the timeline for this season, meaning: the timeline in Storybrooke, the timeline in Enchanted Forest 2.0 and the timeline in Hyperion Heights (present??) and how they all are connected. Guess what? Itās a fucking mess. I know time moves differently in every realm, but that means that by the time Robin travels to EF 2.0 itās been 10-11 years in Storybrooke since Emma said she was pregnant (this is following my theory that Emma and Killian tried to conceive for a couple of years ever since Henry left Storybrooke), so 10 years for the people of Storybrooke without seeing Henry.Ā If the phone call young Henry receives in 7x20 is actually from adult Henry, that would mean that this seasonās curse not only brought them to the Land Without Magic but it was a travel back in time, right?
Adam said once that Hyperion Heights is set in present time (2017-2018) so time traveling would make sense, however Iām still trying to figure out when in time are set the events of the series finale;Ā if weāre gonna see Neal of about 9-10 years old, those events would take place in 2021.
I put the season 6 finale set in 2014 because I remember Henry saying he was 13 during season 5 and I think Fiona didnāt know Henryās actually age and thatās why she told Emma in s6 finale he was 14 years old, so she could be wrong.
Iām thinking Henry graduates from high school when heās 17 years old and then leaves Storybrooke, thatās when time starts being tricky in other realms, maybe it moves faster or slowest than in Storybrooke. When Henry reach the realm where he meets Cinderella and other stuff happened, I believe times moves really slow because when Robin goes there, itās been what? a couple of years since Regina stayed with Henry? I mean, Lucy was already born and when Lucy turns 8, Robin says sheās 25 now...Ā
Anyway, some rambling thoughts I had today and I might be wrong about this whole thing, a couple weeks and hopefully weāll get an explanation about it, or at least thatās what Adam said

supriya stating in an interview that samira says the āmaybe i just donāt belong hereā line in the hope that he will correct her. to tell her that she does, that sheās important to the ed. but he just stares and doesnāt comment. how fucking painful it must be to see him refuse to comment on a sentence that is a clear red flag and a cry for help. from a person who has been her mentor for four years. knowing he doesnāt care about her view of herself as a doctor. no reassurance from the one person she needs it from
i actually think it was really hot for trinity santos to walk in on her first day with that amount of confidence, make nicknames for every loser in there, try and get to do as many cool procedures as she could, catching some asshole stealing drugs, flirt with a 30+ year old surgery resident and still bag her after stabbing her in the foot, and just in general walking around and taking up her rightful space. i think women should do that more
random but here is a recipe for cold peanut noodles that you can make during hot weather because i just ate this and had a fantastic time
2tbsp of peanut butter. a splash of rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup. some chili flakes, some sesame seeds. a splash of water to thin it out. now you put in your noodles (cooled!!!! boiled and rinsed so theyāre cold!!) and then some chopped up cucumber or carrot or avocado or cabbage or any crunchy vegetable. i just used cucumber
you can also put in lime juice or herbs or sriracha or grated garlic/ginger or anything like that; tofu/tempe/meat for more protein etc. noodle wise this can be ramen soba udon whatever, i used soba. enjoy homies
