Prompt 24: Babylon the Great

Isaiah 34:14

And wild animals shall meet with hyenas;

    the wild goat shall cry to his fellow;

indeed, there the night bird settles

    and finds for herself a resting place.

Revelation 17:4-5

The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. The owl is often regarded as a keeper of ancient wisdom and mystical knowledge.

The eagle, with its majestic wingspan and keen eyesight, embodies the spirit of divine vision and clarity.

The dove is a universal symbol of peace, love, and spiritual purity.

One of the most frightening myths about Lilith, especially for parents, is she is believed to stalk children. Whether she stalks all babies or not is unknown. However, she often received the blame for babies dying in the womb or shortly after birth.

Many people also believe that she will prefer young boys over girls; however, there is no direct reason for this. She simply goes after children who are only a few days to a couple of weeks old because she believes this is one of her callings.
