hes painted and looking pretty good! combined ping pong balls and those glass eyes from the first post so it fits his sockets more, goong to put a coat of shiny over him so he doesnt look so dry and looks nice and smooth. gonna also start working on the mechanism tomorrow

Lil Cal progress 3 i think
So yeah. I 3D printed cal. My friend made some corrections to the initial 3d model, like his movaeable jaw and his neck ridge, but i made him TOOOOO HUGE. Look, i like Lil Cal but not in a lifesize way.
If anyone cares about me though, i got accepted into the highschool with the art class i wanted to go to! Exciting right? ive been held up with shitty german homework though. pain in the ass. Anyways,

part two of my stupud FUCKING cal puppet project thing.
i decided to scrap rhe whole *Foam base* idea because i covered it in clay and it looked like an utter piece of GAR-BAGE. (spelt garr baaage).
so i just decided to buy nomad sculpt and a 400 euro 3d printer so i could EVENTUALLY print his head. im still pondering if i should make a mold out of the 3d print so it can be made out of glass fiber epoxy resin, or if i should ask my friend to give the model the necessary tweaks inside of the head so i dont have to do all that per filthy hands and wood.
for his shirt material im thinking of getting some shiny orange fabric and commissioning a (yet to be found) person to embroider the vertical pinstripe patterns on the suit under his shirt. GOD FUCk. AGGHHHHH.
