What does 'coded as black' mean? Did they mean the sociological "coding" that if you see Clawdeen, she is labeled a black character? Or does 'coded' mean something else?
yeah i meant sociological coding here, yeah. the thing about it though is that, even outside of the way she acts, she is show as having features associated with blackness and brown skin? and it’s not like she’s light skinned or anything. she is very obviously meant to be a black character even though she’s a werewolf - like clawdeen even kinda looks like rihanna. so i don’t see how a person would look at that and still see it as coded rather than just... being...

FINALLY sold off my turnips and even with giving the town owner a 43k tip i still walked away with about 663k, shoutout to lilael

Do you have any articles or guides about Gnomoria to recommend? I am having troubles figuring out the controls and what to do for my poor gnomes.
I didn't look up any articles or guides when I first started. To be honest, the game is REALLY hard to figure out. I hope they invest in a better help system for beginners. I can probably help a bit, but I'm still figuring things out.
One of the key things to remember, is if you give them too much stuff to do at once, they wont do any of it. Also, I've found that when you assign a Gnome to a work area, and they die, no one will go and finish the job, so production will stop for nearly 4 hours (real time) before the AI figures out what happen. So far this is the only draw back for me.
Do you watch the Yogscast? I believe one of them did a few videos on Gnomoria. I vaguely remember watch an episode of it. I don't know how well it would work, but sometimes they help me, because they are as bad as the game as I am, and seeing them figure things out helps me figure things out. lol.
