The real story behind The Dragon's Prince is me and my neighbor Kenya were chilling smoking when he said we should make a Black manga. I got excited and we came up with ideas of a guy who is dating all these girls. We wanted to have Kingdoms one Magic the other Science at war and it's in the future. I came up with a lot of ideas and we came up with characters. He drew the character that will be Tray Akinox. I drew Jade Smartest before I drew Wanda Ho. It was funny… Ho means fire in Korean. Kenya told me he dated a girl whose last name was Ho and I said we had to call her that. Wanda Ho rolls off the tongue too well. Kenya soon later died from a drug overdose. I was there and it broke my heart. I promised that I would finish the comic for him. But making a good comic is hard work. But I'm half way there.

Kenya did music as well as draw. He put me on to hyperpop music. I see The Dragon's Prince as a hyperpop comic. I don't call it a manga like Kenya did-- I can't draw backwards and shit. I read more comics a way. But the project has a lot of anime references and eastern influences.

I made the unseen narrator be Lil Ghost Kenya because he was cool. In away he's still a part of the comic book.
