Yeah no I was wrong, but there are enough crumbs for me to give you:

Mister Mushroom's Order

Obi-Wan is nice enough. He is fun, he is attractive. He is professional and he is emotionally distant. They flirt but the power dynamic is such that neither of them really think much of it. It’s fun. They have fun.

Cody hears about Anakin and Ahsoka much more than he actually interacts with them. Rex likes them and they are General Kenobi’s family (in some way). Skywalker is reckless and Ahsoka is starting to take after her Master. That’s about it.

Through some weird circumstance, Cody ends up on a mission with Anakin and Ahsoka. (Idk why, it’s war and it’s pretend. Use your imagination.) Anakin and Ahsoka are zoomer humor copemaxxing and Cody realizes how young they both are. It makes him mad to know that his brother’s lives rest in the hand of two teenagers. But also……why are two teenagers put in command of troops????

Cody comes away from the mission feeling incredibly protective of Anakin and Ahsoka. They need someone to step up and really take care of them. He must become their father.

Should be easy. The Jedi don’t really have parents so he wouldn’t be interrupting a family dynamic. (I guess he is reading a lot of books with nuclear families.) Everything is going well until Cody realizes Obi-Wan is sort of already their father.

But Cody is not a quitter.

He knows what must be done.
