and hockey isnt a big sport in korea unfortunately π only a handful of people watch the pro leagues here and to my knowledge theyβre horribly funded compared to major sports here like baseball and basketball (of even soccer).
i actually got into hockey through a friend! we were both f1 fans and he also liked hockey and posted nhl stuff so i naturally got sucked into it lmao. i swear i was just watching casually but then boom i became a hockey account π something very appealing about hockey that formula 1 cant capture. i think itβs the group sport aspect of it.
You guys know that scene from The Gentlemen, the film by Guy Ritchie, where Matthew McConaughey's character talks about how he doesn't give a shit about money but VERY much gives a shit about the fact that someone put their hands on his wife? Like the way he specifically speaks about it, just how fucking RAW and utterly ENRAGED he felt at not being able to get there sooner?

I'm really annoyed and upset with my friend.
I decided to show her some of my concepts (Albeit poor ones) of some of the characters I wanted to draw in the future. I was slightly excited and decided to not only send those put also FINISHED drawings of my ocs.
And out of 10 ocs I sent, she decided to focus on ONE. LITERALLY JUST ONE OF THEM. AND IT WASN'T EVEN THE ONES WITH FULL BLOWN DRAWINGS OR FINISHED SKETCHES, IT WAS A DOODLE. A DOODLE.
And when I questioned on why she was focused on that DOODLE specifically, she just says: "I get attached easily :|." What????
And that made me so upset because she didnβt even take the time to at least acknowledge the other drawings I actually really liked nor did she even give me any sort of feedback, criticism, or suggestions for my concepts. she literally focused on one and moved on.
and as a joke (In the beginning) I said that I would "Obliterate" the one she liked. AND IN RESPONSE SHE JUST STARTS TROLLING AND CALLING ME MEAN FOR SAYING THAT. Now I dont even want to ever draw that character again, let alone even finish his design. I just might make a whole new design for him because that made me so so upset.
The WORST part is that A.) I really liked where I was going with his design and B.) SHE LITERALLY ASKED FOR MY CONCEPTS. Sure, I chose to send the other drawings by choice, so she didn't have to say anything, BUT AT LEAST COMMENT ON THE THINGS YOU ASKED FOR???
I know its such a little and dumb thing to be sad about but that genuinely made me upset. like i actually hate that character now.
"ohh one isnt scary anymore !!" "ohh one fumbles everytime she fights shes so unintimidating !!" "why doesnt she use her powers correctly !! shes so lame !!" you guys realize thats the point. right.
one is, undebatably, extremely impulsive and emotional. she doesnt think rationally. she lets herself get carried away by quick rage and that hinders her. it's why liy's distraction worked. she is still extremely powerful, and we've seen shes capable of real damage, but that is when she's at her best. and in tpot 23, she absolutely wasn't. she was furious because the objects were meddling with her plans, and acted on that rage in ways that ended up backfiring on her. thats the POINT.
