This took way too long, also took some creative liberties since it only appeared in the manga for like 3 pages, and I’m not the biggest fan of the anime version.

Megamerged versions of Erza’s empress armors
I like to imagine that when Erza merges with Model Z, whatever armor she summons while merged will take on characteristics of the Model Z armor.
Her hair elongates and fades to Zero’s signature blonde when merged too.
I just think they look cool and would inspire fear in any actual maverick that crossed her path

Day 22 - Favorite Weapon, Gear, or Armor Used in any Anime
Erza’s Lightning Empress Armor from Fairy Tail, Gilgamesh’s Ea from Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night, Rin’s Kurikara from Blue Exorcist, and Irene’s Gravisheath from The Asterisk War :)
This is by far my favorite requip of Erza’s because 1. look how amazingly beautiful it is and 2. lightning for Laxus, you know? Gilgamesh’s Ea is so badass. I mean, it’s called the Sword of Rupture, it can destroy worlds, it’s just really cool idk. I’ve got a thing for Japanese style swords and that plus Rin’s blue fire is just really cool to me. The idea that weapons can change their user in the Asterisk War is also a really cool idea to me. Like how the gravisheath literally turns Irene into a vampire. Plus it also just looks badass as af.
I’ve been watching a lot of Fairy Tail lately. I wanted to draw some Fanart of Erza in one of my favorite requips, the Lighting Empress armor.
