I have encountered several shocking and unbelievable experiences. There have been individuals so envious of me that they attempted to provoke fights or manipulate situations to elicit a negative reaction from me. One person even tried to turn my coworkers against me to the extent that they refused to follow the work instructions given. Additionally, I have faced hatred, but the most bizarre aspect was discovering that some individuals who harbor such prejudices seem to have mentalities stuck in the 1950s, 60s, or even the 1800s. You could never have convinced me this was real without witnessing it myself between 2016 and 2026, and that’s just a brief timeframe; it likely extends even further, my exposure.

Is this spiritual? Is this persecution? Is this connected to the mind battle?

I often reflect on the notion that the word of God suggests that the struggle takes place within the mind. However, how does this connect to the behavior of others towards you, or to someone who may be in opposition to you? Can we truly say that when people stand against you, it is mainly a form of persecution?

To satisfy my curiosity, I took the initiative to investigate this matter so that I could be informed and capable of thinking correctly when I encounter such situations.

Here's what I found: The battle in the mind is about what you believe, agree with, and respond to internally. What people do to you is external pressure. When people come against you because of your faith or obedience, that’s persecution. But the enemy uses both—your thoughts and people—to try to influence your mind.

“The battle is in the mind” — what that actually means

When Scripture talks about the mind being the battleground, it’s referring to:

Thoughts

Beliefs

Interpretations

Internal agreements

Imaginations

Accusations

Fear, doubt, discouragement, confusion

This is why Paul says:

“Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5)

And:

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2)

The enemy cannot control your life unless he influences your thoughts.

So the primary battlefield is INTERNAL.

"But what about when people come against you?" People’s actions are EXTERNAL, but they affect the mind.

For example:

Someone lies on you → the enemy tries to plant discouragement

Someone rejects you → the enemy tries to plant identity wounds

Someone attacks your character → the enemy tries to plant self-doubt

Someone mistreats you → the enemy tries to plant bitterness

So the EXternal attack is not the battle itself.

The real battle is how your mind responds to the external attack.

This is why Paul said:

“We wrestle not against flesh and blood…” (Ephesians 6:12)

Meaning: People are the vessel, but not the source.

"People come against you because of your faith- that's persecution."

If the reason they oppose you is:

your obedience to God

your righteousness

your refusal to compromise

your spiritual growth

your calling

your anointing

your alignment with God’s Word

Then yes — that is persecution.

Jesus said:

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.” (Matthew 5:11)

The key phrase is “because of Me.”

Not every attack is persecution. But when the attack is triggered by your walk with God, it is.

Let's connect them. People's actions are pressure. Our mind is the battlefield. The enemy's goal is agreement.

Example:

Someone betrays you → the enemy whispers, “See, you can’t trust anyone.”

Someone rejects you → the enemy whispers, “You’re not worthy.”

Someone mocks your faith → the enemy whispers, “Maybe you should tone it down.”

Someone tries to intimidate you → the enemy whispers, “You’re not strong enough.”

The EXternal attack is meant to produce an internal agreement. That’s the real war.

A spiritually mature believer learns to separate:

the person (flesh and blood)

the spirit influencing them

the mental battle inside themselves

So the flow looks like this:

External attack (people, situations, conflict)

Internal temptation (thoughts, interpretations, lies)

Spiritual battle (truth vs deception)

Your response (faith, obedience, identity)

This is why Jesus could say:

“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

He recognized the spiritual influence behind the human behavior.

Mind battle = internal

Persecution = external

Spiritual warfare = the intersection of both

Yes- our presence, anointing, and alignment with God can provoke hostility. We carry authority, clarity, self-respect, stability, identity and light.

People who are spiritually unsettled, insecure, or influenced by darkness feel exposed by that.

This is why Jesus said:

“You are the light of the world.” “The darkness comprehended it not.”

Light doesn’t even have to speak to irritate darkness. It just has to exist. So yes — our presence alone can provoke people who are spiritually compromised, emotionally unstable, or threatened by our strength.

The account of giants inhabiting the land designated for the Israelites acts as a parallel example especially in my story of owning property in a suburban city.

When God gave Israel land, He didn’t remove the giants first. Why?

Because the giants represented:

territorial resistance

intimidation

opposition to God’s promise

the enemy’s attempt to block inheritance

A home is an inheritance. Your peace is your inheritance. Your stability is your inheritance.

So when you step into a place (job position etc) God gives you, it’s normal for:

territorial spirits

generational strongholds

community-level dysfunction

racism

spiritual opposition

to react. Not because you’re doing something wrong — but because you’re doing something right.

Because inheritance always comes with resistance

So yes — the hostility you’re facing is:

territorial

spiritual

psychological

racial

intentional

and rooted in darkness

But it does NOT mean you’re unsafe or powerless.

It means you’re in the right place, and the enemy knows it.

Let's go into truth vs deception- the real spiritual battle

Truth = God’s perspective Who you are, what He promised, what He said about your identity, your authority, your protection.

Deception = the enemy’s interpretation What demonic spirits wants you to believe about yourself, your situation, your safety, your worth, your future.

Here’s how it plays out:

External attack: People harass you, stalk you, provoke you, or try to intimidate you.

Internal battle: The enemy tries to plant interpretations:

“You’re not safe.”

“You don’t belong here.”

“They have power over you.”

“You should be afraid.”

“You’re alone.”

“You’re being targeted because you’re weak.”

Truth:

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”

“I will give you the land.”

“I am with you.”

“Greater is He that is in you.”

“You are the head and not the tail.”

“The righteous are bold as a lion.”

The real battle is which interpretation you agree with. That’s the mind war.

Here's the part I often wrestle with, spiritual influence doesn’t excuse human choice.**

Truth 1: People are influenced by spiritual forces.

Ephesians 6:12 — “We wrestle not against flesh and blood.”

Meaning: Their behavior is not coming from a healthy, whole place. They are spiritually compromised, deceived, or driven by darkness.

Truth 2: They are still morally responsible.

God never excuses sin because of spiritual influence.

Adam blamed Eve. Eve blamed the serpent. God still held each accountable.

Spiritual influence explains behavior. It does not excuse behavior.

Here's the summary

A. Individuals hatred and hostility are real, intentional choices.

They are choosing to harass, provoke, stalk, or target you.

B. Their choices are influenced by deeper spiritual forces.

Their insecurity, hatred, jealousy, and need for control are spiritual vulnerabilities.

C. Your presence disrupts their spiritual comfort zone.

A christian can represent:

order in a place of chaos

dignity in a place of dysfunction

stability in a place of instability

righteousness in a place of compromise

authority in a place of lawlessness

People who live in darkness feel threatened by someone who lives in truth.

D. The enemy uses (peoples) behavior to try to influence your mind. That’s the real goal. Not the harassment itself — but the interpretation he wants you to adopt.

I was trying to reconcile:

“This feels spiritual.”

“But they’re choosing to do this.”

“So how do I categorize it?”

Is it spiritual, persection or the mind? The answer is hiding in layers

Here’s the answer:

It is BOTH spiritual and intentional. It is BOTH influence and choice. It is BOTH persecution and psychological warfare.

This is the reason Psalm 23 states, "He restores my soul," referring to our mind (thoughts), will (choices), and emotions (responses).

Why does God restore the soul? Because life damages it. People damage it. Trauma damages it. Hostility damages it. Fear damages it. Oppression damages it.

And yes — spiritual warfare damages it.

So Psalm 23 is God saying:

“I will repair what the world, people, and the enemy tried to break.”

That’s why the mind is the battlefield — because the soul is the part of you the enemy wants to distort. Again he wants to distort our thoughts so we can internalize it, our choices and our responses.

I mentioned Driven by Darkness. What that doesn't mean is, they had no choice, nor are they innocent.

Darkness = deception, hatred, pride, fear, insecurity, spiritual blindness, generational sin, demonic influence.

When someone is “driven by darkness,” it means:

their worldview is distorted

their emotions are corrupted

their identity is fractured

their conscience is compromised

their reactions are not coming from a healthy place

their behavior is shaped by lies they’ve agreed with

But — and this is important — they still choose their actions.

Spiritual influence is real. Human responsibility is also real. Both truths stand together.

Influence does not remove choice. Being influenced is not the same as being controlled. The serpent influenced Eve. Eve still chose. Adam still chose. Judas was influenced by Satan. Judas still chose betrayal.

So when I say “driven by darkness,” I mean:

their internal compass is corrupted

their emotions are fueled by darkness

their worldview is shaped by lies

their reactions are spiritually unhealthy

their hatred is spiritually energized

But they are still morally accountable.

Here’s what people can sense about you without you saying a word:

A. Your confidence

People who are insecure feel threatened by someone who carries themselves with dignity.

B. Your spiritual clarity

People living in confusion or dysfunction feel exposed by someone who is grounded.

C. Your emotional stability

People who thrive on chaos resent someone who doesn’t react.

D. Your identity

People who don’t know who they are feel intimidated by someone who does.

E. Your light

People who are spiritually compromised feel agitated around someone who carries peace.

F. Your boundaries

People who are used to dominating others get angry when they can’t dominate you.

G. Your anointing

People influenced by darkness feel discomfort around someone aligned with God.

None of this requires you to “do” anything. Your presence alone disrupts their internal world.

This is why Jesus said:

“You are the light of the world.”

Light doesn’t try to expose darkness. It just exists, and darkness reacts.

A. A human choice

They are choosing hatred. They are choosing intimidation. They are choosing aggression. They are choosing to target you.

B. A spiritual reaction

Your presence disrupts the spiritual atmosphere they’re comfortable in.

Racism is a sin its called hatred in the word of God. Sin is spiritual. Spiritual darkness hates spiritual light.

Why chaos was mentioned.

Chaos is any environment where people can avoid accountability, avoid self-reflection, and avoid dealing with their own emptiness.

Chaos can look like:

gossip

intimidation

groupthink

unspoken rules

passive-aggressive behavior

staring

monitoring

provoking

subtle hostility

“we all act the same way”

“we don’t like outsiders”

“we don’t like people who don’t play our game”

It’s not loud. It’s not dramatic. It’s not obvious.

It’s psychological chaos — the kind that keeps people from having to look inward

Some people prefer chaos

Because chaos protects them from:

confronting their insecurities

facing their failures

dealing with their identity issues

acknowledging their jealousy

admitting their emptiness

taking responsibility for their lives

If the environment stays chaotic, they never have to grow.

If the environment stays chaotic, they never have to change.

If the environment stays chaotic, they never have to face themselves.

So when someone like you shows up — stable, grounded, self-aware, spiritually aligned — it disrupts the system.

You don’t match the environment they’re used to.

You carry:

self-respect

clarity

boundaries

identity

peace

light

emotional stability

spiritual awareness

People who live in internal chaos feel exposed by someone who lives in internal order.

They don’t have the language for it. They don’t understand it consciously. But they feel it.

In closing Deuteronomy 28:10 absolutely applies in principle.

When God said:

“All the people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord…”

He meant:

You will stand out.

You will carry yourself differently.

You will have a different spirit.

You will have a different standard.

You will have a different level of clarity and dignity.

You will not blend into environments built on insecurity or intimidation.

And yes — people respond to that.

Some respond with respect. Some respond with curiosity. Some respond with discomfort. Some respond with hostility.

Not because you’re doing anything dramatic… but because your presence disrupts their internal world.

In recent years, the phrase "My Truth" has significantly influenced societal decision-making and thinking

. Let's examine the differences between subjective and objective perspectives.

A subjective viewpoint relies on personal feelings or experiences, often expressed as "This is how I feel about it." The second state of mind can be summarized as "Whatever I think," where personal opinions are treated as authoritative, suggesting that "My feelings define the situation." Another perspective is "Your Truth," which presents individual experiences as absolute truth, ultimately leading to the belief that one's internal reality is the only reality.

These concepts imply that reality is defined by personal assertions, attempting to reshape it and dismiss objective facts and truths in favor of subjective emotions.

We have witnessed instances, such as the abortion doctor who refused to answer Congress, among various other examples.

Society is now faced with a choice between facts and personal truths. Facts and truths become irrelevant when they clash with an individual's identity or emotions, which have taken precedence in this nation.

Objective facts and truths remains constant, external, and factual; for instance, 2+2=4, and this will always hold true! It does not fluctuate according to identity, emotions, or preferences.

If all of this has been ingrained in the hearts and minds of individuals, the only outcome is that Satan is deceiving humanity. It is a calculated tactic aimed at further distancing people from the understanding of the creator of heaven and earth, Jehovah-God, and His love.

Someone for whom the light of others is so unbearable that they must mock it, distort it, or destroy it, does not speak from humanity and kindness but from a pain that has found no language – and so erupts into attack.

Those who repeatedly initiate and wage wars behind the mask of vulnerability, who wound, pursue, exclude, and insult others, do not reveal strength – but the powerlessness to bear their own darkness.

Consider the vast system we exist in as a medium or a realm hosting various environments, each characterized by distinct frequency ranges. Within these ranges, fractals like us exist and experience reality, abiding by specific rules that govern these realms. Interestingly, these rules and realities are shaped, both intentionally and unintentionally, by the fractals themselves.

Though changes within these realities occur over extensive periods, it’s important to note that our reality is encapsulated within a larger one—think of it as an oil droplet in water, with us being the oil and the water representing the larger reality.

Our movement within this medium might intersect with other “oil droplets,” or realities, each operating under different rule sets. This interaction can be likened to galaxies merging, resulting in a new formation comprising elements of both.

The fabric of these realities is composed of light, and the contrasting element of darkness can attach itself to them. However, darkness cannot fully encompass the light; it only occupies portions of it.

At present, our reality is experiencing an occupation by this darkness, which can be perceived as evil, contrasting with the light, or good. These concepts are known by various names, depending on individual resonance.

The concept of a “solar flash” signifies a pivotal moment when this pervasive darkness separates itself from our collective luminosity, enabling the light to shine in its full brilliance, akin to the sun emerging from behind a vast obstruction.

This shift precipitates the removal of technologies wielded by this darkness, which is what the discussions around the days of darkness refer to—the aftermath of losing these technologies. Regrettably, we humans have integrated these technologies into every facet of our reality. Transitioning away will necessitate that we "upgrade" from these darker technologies to those of the "light."

The withdrawal of this darkness doesn’t occur instantaneously; it unfolds gradually, considering its extensive reach and our existence within a time matrix. Consequently, as it recedes, various segments or “timelines” might collapse or converge. This phenomenon could account for experiences of shifts in reality, such as the Mandela Effect, reported by some during this period of detachment.
