Sketching and coloring the leaves is such a challenge for me, I really need to watch some videos on basic technique. No tabletop shots, no tripod, just handheld looking at the beauty that is so. The luxury of watching the light change and wrap around the subjects like a hug. We all need a hug about now and I hope you feel warm and giggle a little as you picture me laying across a neighbor's lawn to get this dandelion.

I was watering my garden this morning and noticed the web in the fence and knew that I had found my subject for today. It would have been easy to miss were it not for the way the web captured the mist. I believe that if we all slowed down for just a few moments and really observed our surroundings it would go a long way in improving the world.
