Curses & Blessings
[OmenVoid AU lorepost]
Whenever a being enters Omen, whether they are born there or arrive there, they will get a Curse. Curses are sort of like tropes. You are fated to follow your curse, no matter what. [It's also a fun writing exercise for me :33 yayayayayay] This is partially based on the "curses" from Life SMP! Multiple people can have the same Curse.
Example [OC from my campaign]:
Curse of the Muse - Looked at. Admired. So beautiful, isn’t it? Your story is written for you. A brushstroke, the flick of a quill. You long to rip that wretched thing to pieces.
A Blessing is something to be earned. It will not fully rid you of your Curse, but it will aid you with it. Blessings can be acquired through many means, but the main two are deals with more powerful beings and large personal events.

Blessing of the Crow - The things you love are small, but cherished. They are yours. You are a kind companion, feared when needed. The attachment between you and your beloveds, item or being, is one that will last.
